Making my father proud Started by: Special_Forces on May 09, '12 21:47

Special_Forces walks out of the corner store, thinking about how he could make his father proud of him. He had lost his father a couple weeks ago, but he had learned a lot from him. He looks down the street where Phil_Steak was turning up from State Street on to 29th and walking right towards him. Special_Forces paused to think and remembered about how his father told him about how great of a leader Phil_Steak was. Special_Forces thinks to himself and decides he should talk to Phil_Steak. Special_Forces approaches Phil_Steak and begins to speak,

"Hello, Phil_Steak. How is everything? I need to talk to you about something."

Phil_Steak doesn't even look his way because he has a large group of his bodyguards with him. So Special_Forces yells out so he can hear him.

"Hey, Phil_Steak! I need to talk to you about my father, he was in your crew...."

Phil_Steak stops and looks towards Special_Forces with a confused look on his face as he tries to recognize the face of the young man speaking to him. He pushes his bodyguards out of the way and says,

"Hey son what did you say....."

Special_Forces was stunned when Phil_Steak spoke. He walks closer to Phil_Steak and says..

"How are you sir, my name is Special_Forces and my father was Sniper. I just wanted to have a moment of your time and ask if I could join your crew. I want to make my father proud and I know this would accomplish that."

Phil_Steak was shocked and continued to speak....

"Your father was a great man and did a lot of this family. It was a bad loss. You do know this is a tough family and it takes a lot to prove yourself."

Special_Forces thinks about it and says,

"I heard all the stories he would tell me and I would like to make him proud. I will show you I can make a name for myself too!"

Phil_Steak walks closer and says....

"I will let you in but you have to hit these streets and show everyone that you can make it. You have to always have respect for the family and the people in the street. You have to work hard and you will go far. Always do what is asked of you."

Special_Forces smiles and continues...

"Sir, I will work harder than anyone to prove to you as well as the family that I belong. Well, I have something for you, just to show you that I'm in it for good."

Special_Forces pulls a envelope out of his back pocket and hands it to Phil_Steak. He opens the envelope to see a stack of 100 dollar bills and smiles.

"Thanks brother, now go hit those streets and show everyone you are for real!"

Phil_Steak turns around to heavy protection of bodyguards. He then starts talking to someone before he motions Special_Forces back over.

"Hey Special_Forces this is Soldier he will help you learn the streets and show you how to make a good name for yourself. "

Special_Forces begins to talk with Soldier, as Phil_Steak began to walk off down the street. He knows the two will be very capable together.

Special_Forces talked to Soldier for a little, then hits the street with a mission in his head to prove to everyone he is for real and can a make his name in the city of Philly. After Soldier leaves Special_Forces looks in the air and says,

"I will make you proud."

KissTheSky listened as the young lad spoke with Phil. She smiled as she saw in him the same eagerness she had seen in many other successful young men. She waited for a moment when he wasn't busy before approaching him.

I have a feeling that your father would be very proud of you my dear. You have a great outlook and a strong character just as he had. I'm pleased to have the chance to work with you and look forward to seeing what you can make of yourself in this world.

She smiled, patted his cheek softly then continued on her way.
