Forgive my ignorance, and as a pup that can trace his roots back to the old country it pains me to say it. But you have Italy in pool A…did they even qualify in the end? |

Buddy is right. This whole competition is a blatant sham and a lie. I'm disgusted by what I've seen here. All the countries should be put back into the pot and we start again picking names. This has nothing to do with the fact Brazil and Argentina have already been pulled out, and everything to do with competitional integrity. HughJanus has made a huge anus of himself and this entire competition. One would expect no better from a Norella member. Thanks Buddy for bringing it up and agreeing with everything I just said. |

Ah, well spotted BuddyBigPaw. That was indeed an error on my part, and perhaps wishful thinking. I omitted them from Pool A yesterday, later on I'll post an update on each the remaining teams! |

Thank you, HughJanus. Not the greatest draw in history, but I guess I will be the biggest USA & Iran fan there is! You have to roll with what you have. I was really hoping for Portugal!

I’m glad that has been settled then. In that case put me down for one entry. If you do not give me France then I will be stuffing my entry into a sock and ramming it up your HughJanus mind. |

Because I am proud to be Dutch and the Dutch national team always did well in World Cups, I decided to entry this competition. I know there is no choice in what nation you get, but I do hope Tne Netherlands will do great. Curious to see if Hydra will participate and what nation he gets, he hates a lot of countries. |

I have no idea how this crap with ze world cup works and what are ze rules but... Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win. |

With such high stakes on the line I demand a redraw and a draw to be taken place once enough money has been received for all teams to be given out. A live feed to show the full result and chocolate pancake to be gifted to all the participants. |

CURRENT TOURNAMENT UPDATE The bowls continue to thin out as entrants gamble their fortunes, national pride and in some cases long standing political beliefs on the Janus Invitational of 1956. POOL A has already seen major footballing powers removed including Brazil, Argentina, France, Spain, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Netherlands and the United States...? Still remaining in Pool A are dangerous footballing giants including England, Portugal, Uruguay and Sweden, alongside several dark horses capable of causing complete panic by the quarter finals. POOL B continues to produce confusion, and diplomatic discomfort. Oh and let's not forget about Canada. POOL A 1. Brazil : ROCKNROLLSTAAAAAR 2. Argentina : RICHARD HARROW 3. Well well well. What do we have here. Pure and utter corruption.
-BuddyLeGrandPaws
You fear Le Sock and bowed down to give Godfather Doggy Bag over here the team he asked for. This alongside your earlier faux pax regarding Italy proves once and for all what a sham this is. Why is New York allowing such a thing to happen? Bring back Drieza. Bring back Minaxi. Bring back people who would stand up to tyranny and corruption. I am going to take this to the very top. That is. Unless you're willing to give me ENGLAND? |

DeadRabbit, I've no need to "money grab" such a meager sum. I am the beneficiary of limitless wealth acquired through the hard work and sacrifice of my Great Great Great Grandfather's Uncle, Mike Oxlong. Secondly? Over forty million dollars has already been handed directly to Norella for safe keeping. Every cent entered into this tournament. Exactly as I said would happen from the very beginning. You must’ve missed that part during your investigation. Furthermore, the Pool A nations have been distributed entirely fairly and at random. Brazil ended up in one city. Argentina another. France elsewhere. Germany elsewhere again. The favourites have been spread evenly across America like democracy itself. And finally, running to the Streets making accusations instead of sending a private message first is a classless move. This is supposed to be organised crime, not a sewing circle for bored housewives. Feel free to visit The Ivory Janus in New York’s Business District, I'll do my best to cure you of whatever persistent irritation appears to be flaring up around your lower administrative region. This will only cost 200 million dollars. Now either enter the tournament properly or stand on the sidelines, Columbo. |

Richard-Harrow, don't count the chickens before they hatch! Iran will surprise the world! USA will make history and be in the top 3! Okay, maybe not, but Interlude beat me for the worse two teams! Maybe we should make a tournament to see if Interlude or my teams make it farther. |
