Power is not as potent if there isnt respect to go with it. Without respect, money can easily be taken. Without respect, power is just another target on your back. |

canta walks up to where several people are talking about money and power, he pulls out a pack of kools, lights one and sticks it in his mout "i think i will sum all this up for everyone, as previoulsy said money is power, that statment is pretty correct but more correctly "power leads to money", think about it, if you can name one person who is powerful, but doesnt have a great sum of money i stand corrected" |

You can't buy power with money. You have to be a great leader to have power and then when you have that,then people will trust you. Money is another way of heading to Power. This is wat you need. 1.)Respect and trust is the most powerfull weapon. If you have that your are a lendend. Thats my opinion, i could be wrong. you deside: Tell us wat you think. |

Power...equals respect...respect...equals fear. You do the math. Money, people can take. Cars, people can take. But they can't take Respect. I would use power to become a respected and feared person and have my hand around a city's pulse. |

Howard listens, but only hears half of what the man is saying he runs through his on pros and cons in his head I would choose power. Why? Because if you have power, you have means to make money. You can take a cut out of whoever is in your power, you can get them to do dirty work for you and the list goes one. But with money, you must buy your power. But if you buy your power that only shows you have money, money doesnt get you respect, earning power does. So my choice would be power because you can earn the money and you also have the respect and you have your reputation behind you and not many people want to anger someone with power,respect and a reputation where as they couldnt give a dogs bollox about someone who has only money. |

I think the more you have of either the better, There are certain negatives to having alot of them, but the positives to this vastly outweighs them. I personally would go for both, all or nothing. However, in this instance when asked which one i would prefer i would go for money. Money can buy power, it can buy anything, "Money can't buy me love?" Bullshit, it can. Money makes the world go round and is so much more important than Power. The more power one person has, not only the more responsibility that comes with is, but the more people would want them to die or fail, maybe both. 90% of people love to see the most powerful people fail, jealousy. So obviously, on the contrary to nearly everybody above, id go for money, anyday. |

Scratches his head and steps to the front of the rabble.... I struggle to see how money is any more important than power in this thing of ours. Of course money is an intrinsic aid to becoming powerful but it will not buy you power in the vast majority of cases. Zulo would be the exception, obviously money bought him power for a limited time; in that he invested it into his HQ. He was not however granted power, merely took it for himself albeit briefly. If money was hugely important we would see our best earners regularly granted a position of power yet we do not. Money will not, by default, make you powerful unless you invest it wisely and make an effort to be noticed; sadly this concept is lost on a large number of the cretins I see plaguing our streets. Sure, you can buy yourself a load of bodyguards but we all know this is a redundant excerise unless you are wearing a bold suit or are in a position of leadership within your particular family. As for money being able to buy you love. You are truly mistaken if you actually believe this. How can feelings be bought? If you love someone, you dont love them for their money, you love them for who and what they are. Like you say, money makes the world go around, but it not usually in a good way. By definition, humankind is a greedy race, and greed breeds negativity. Money only exacerbates these traits. I personally, would not put a great deal of importance on one or the other. I will go about my business quietly and any money I make will go to my crew leader. After all, it is much better spent that way and I will reap far more benefits from behaving in this way. Shrugs and adjusts his pants into a more agreeable position.... Power is not something I crave, moreover it is something which should be treated as the ultimate reward in this thing of ours. After all, what is power other than a word? It has been proved over and over in this thing of ours that power can be snatched away in the blink of an eye, hell we are sitting in the middle of a bloodbath right now the reasons for which I am still blissfully unaware of. So yeah, money or power? Neither, I am just happy to be alive. Tips his hat and wanders off chuckling to himself at his words being lost on most..... |

I would say money if you have loads of money you can have taxes and then loan people money who ever you loan money to has to pay more back lol and you could buy anything you wanted like ermmmm..... power for example lol honestly the money would be great but what goods power apart from the fact you can kill people and tell them what to do i would rather be told what to do its an easier life that way power would be ok i guess but if something goes wrong who gets targeted?? ....you.... thats who so i would definately say money over power... |
