PremeirTheGreat I believe the dead at wise guy bet 2 to 1 & not 10 to 1, however it would be a spectacular way for his son to give him self away by sending you 2 credits if not then city all could always give him life in prison.

The bet was 1 credit at 2:1 odds - the bet was that prem would be shot at WiseGuy. He wasn't. The bet is there null and void. There were no "secret bets" placed. In the interests of goodwill, the stake will be returned. However, the bet was NEVER how long someone would stay alive, it was when they would be shot. Prem bet that he would be shot at WiseGuy - he wasn't. The bet is no more.

If the bet was he'd be killed at Wise Guy and wasn't then the bet isn't null, he made it past Wise Guy so surely you should pay out.

Wouldn't the bet be lost if he wasn't shot at Wise Guy?

This coul;d be argued back and forth all day - the bet was with GomezII who is dead, the bet was on prem getting shot at WiseGuy - not him surviving past WiseGuy etc etc.

Without my bloodline's well earned reputation for honesty, I'm in difficulty.

Oh, and I've checked with City Hall - they aren't interested, and rightly so.  I made them aware of the facts, which they are happy with.

I love you all and I just bought a new shirt.  I like it.  It's got purple stripes, which sounds horrible, but actually looks good.  I'm wearing it right now, but won't wear it out.  I'll wear a T-shirt that shows off my impressive arm and chest muscles.  You probably don't care but I'm writing this anyway because I'm so bored of this effing bet chat that my mind wanders.
