"Double. Double you, double me and double this glass of whiskey if you wouldn't mind barkeep!"

No one responded to the request. A growing silence was all she heard. Not even the squeak of a chair or the chatter of other people around the bar. Lifting her head slightly and opening her eyes was only to be met with blinding light which forced her to close her eyes again. Zephyra's head was pounding and foggy. Trying once more to open her eyes, she soon gave up. The light was more than her brain could process right now and she went to lift an arm over them to keep them covered. Only her arms would not move. They had been held down. 

A panic started to form deep in her. Testing the strength of whatever held her down and knowing that it was quite secure, she turned her head to the side and once more tried to look around. There was a man and a woman dressed in white and she sighed softly.

"I'm back here, am I?" she asked.

"'fraid so ma'am. Not a drop of whiskey is to be had here."

"Ahh, ruining all my hopes and dreams Francis." 

Z couldn't help but to smile. At least the orderlies still had a sense of humor among them. 

"Could you let me up now? How long have I even been here this time Francis?"

"Ma'am it's been almost a week. I'll let you up but you must remain here for another few days until Dr. Chester has a moment to see you."

"As usual."

Patiently Zeph waited to be let unbound and let up from the hospital bed. Another unfortunate break that she would have to wait but she knew the system and it would be but a day before she was released once more. Back to her money making schemes and wise guy cracks. 

She just needed a temporary break. A little rest before she met with the good Dr. Chester. First she would have to put together what even happened to see her back at the asylum but her mind was a little foggy right now.
