So with the semi finals being played today between France vs Spain and tomorrow between Argentina vs England. What are your thoughts about the finalists this round?

I am thinking it would be another Messi vs Demblee round with Argentina vs France in the final again.

I'm hoping England dump Messi and Co out of the World Cup, with France winning on the other side of the semi final draw. Set up an England v France final, with Olise sending England packing. 

I wish that scenario would happen, but it seems like they will serve Messi a new world cup like last time.

With Spain’s victory day, it seems like the final match might have some surprises. I wish Spain can win the world cup this time. Yamin Yamal is my new favorite player.

Backing Spain all the way from here. Argentina have had to come from behind too often, shows grit, but can’t keep that up forever. Spain so solid defensively too.

I hope taht Spain will maul Argentina and that this awful world cup will be put to rest. Awful because what they did with a lot of things like advertising and price of the tickets, but as long as people are willing to fly to another continent and pay 30k for a ticket, al the power to them.

But yeah, let's hope Argentina loses 

Today's England's game against France, do you think the current English squad can beat France for the 3rd position? I hope it'll be a fun game worth watching.

Well that was a predictable final. Argentina sat back, Spain never put a foot wrong and eventually ground it out. Shame it was so boring though, but I guess finals often are as no one wants to risk a mistake.

I am glad Spain made it and got the cup, the match was quite boring tbh I slept while watching the extra time but after all that's the curse of the Pharos to you. You steal our game and you get cursed. :D

To circle back, while I am disappointed that Argentina made it to the final, I am very happy that Spain got the job done and sent Argentina packing.

The final was extremely boring. Overall I did not enjoy this World Cup, and the interference with Trump made everything so frustrating too.

Hopefully things will be better next time around.

Can't agree more Sarto, it was very boring. Sports lose the fun and entertainment when everything is controlled for certain people to make money.
