On lounge in #TheSnitch, there will be an impromptu trivia contest starting at 20:00 and runs for 100 questions.

Prizes will be given to the top 10 players in order of their score.

points = round( (base + speed_bonus) × hint_mult ) + streak_bonus

base  =  difficulty: easy 10, medium 15, hard 20
speed_bonus  =  round(base × time_left / timeout) — a linear 0 … base bonus. Buzz in instantly and it doubles your base; answer at the last second and it's 0.
hint_mult  =  taxes how far the reveal ladder got before someone solved it: no hint ×1.0, after the structural hint/vowels ×0.75, after the 1st (asterisk) reveal ×0.5, after the deeper reveal ×0.25. Keyed to the furthest stage reached — fast solvers aren't penalized for a question the whole channel let drag.
streak_bonus  =  min(streak−1, 5) × 2 — kicks in on your 2nd correct in a row, +2 per consecutive solve, capping at +10 (5 in a row).

Worked examples:

Easy, instant, no hints, no streak → (10+10)×1.0 = 20
Easy, answered right at the buzzer → (10+0)×1.0 = 10
Easy, mid-clock, after the 1st reveal → (10+5)×0.5 = 7.5 → 8
Hard, instant, 4-in-a-row → (20+20)×1.0 + 3×2 = 46

I ask that users do not intentionally try to interfere with the game play, intentionally sabotaging the game will result in the loss of your character and playing privileges.
