hi everyone. I've had this thought for some time. In many years, a lot of people are sometimes shot/purged/whatever for being, say, EWP/OWP/IWP. Sometimes it's telling a rogue may happen, or sometimes its just you spend some money and buy yourself BGs and it could set off some alarms if someone thinks you're a baaaaaaad guy. I had the idea to completely remove bodyguard levels from profiles so pick pocketing is more of a skill that's worth practicing rather than just a quick $15k (occasionally) and some experience. A good example. Perhaps I put on my city shot report i'm 85 bge (not crazy to pickpocket through, but most people wouldn't have it lol) and I'm actually 120. It aids people being hounded for buying their own bodyguards for whatever reason they may have and it also can make pick pocketing a much more viable skill to train in order to perhaps catch said people out. |

I like the idea BUT with the ability to "see" someone on the streets walking around with a big group of people it would be reasonable to see how big or small the crowd is that they travel with. the only tweak i could think of would be to have it location based (you can only see their bg level if they are in your area) but even that is bypassed by just flying to where they are and making note of it |

| I’m not sure how hard it would be to implement, but to your point TheTripleDeuce, it could be stat based too. So someone with let’s say max stealth who moves quietly isn’t always seen with their entourage. Or maybe their BGs move in silence too, so it’s harder to tell except by people with high street smarts. Idk I think it can be a cool suggestion, adds some strategy to the game. | |

Side note: it could be like the upper durdens (if I remember correctly). Based on their stats (def, stealth, whatever) it could show as: Unknown, Possibly IWP, Likely IWP, or IWP. But then again it could make the “meta” change to people going stealth or def characters or it may not change it at all. |

The only tweak I could see would be to train your BG's in stealth so they don't count as the amount that you have in your profile after a certain point. Make training BG skills useful outside of the Durden raid aspect. But it would have to be like a percentage chance for the BG's that are trained in stealth to not be counted like 1% per level in stealth, so technically you could have all your BG's not show up if they are all trained max stealth. |
