how come every time i do a petty crime it says "as u go to pull out your gun a man grabs u and says if u want to get anywhere u have to try harder drj28" eats up with that now i cant get any money from petty crimes |

try the lowest crime first (snatch a purse first)
as you start succeeding move up..

I suspect that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't — it's a roll of the dice, but the dice are loaded according to various factors.
So maybe you can only do a certain kind of crime once every 10 attempts. As you improve, though, you might succeed once very 5 attempts. Finally, when you're really good, you succeed almost every time.
Based on what I've read here 'n' there, that's how it seems to work. I could be wrong, though. I've only been playing for a few days. But I've always pulled off my petty crimes. |

I've been playing for some time now and I know the game now. The petty knock over a 7/11 is not popping up. Just the first two. |

depending on what city you are in is depending on the petty difficulty so if you are in philly and it doesnt work then try the next one down in philly andso on weres as if you was in Detroit and the top one works then you know u can do the hardest in any city cause you cant do it in the easyest so.. but if you can do it in Det or NO then thats because of the city difficulty so imo i would just either stay in the low citys like NO Det and Chi and once you can do the hardest everytime in those them move onto somewhere like NY or Philly :)

nowadays you can snatch a purse at civilion. Rob a liquor store at thug but you cant knock over a 7/11 untill gangster. or sponserd i think :s
