it would be a cool aspect if after a hitlist stays up for long enough that the person who posted the hitlist slowly gets revealed to the world in the same ay the location of the target gets revealed. like maybe after a week of the hitlist being up the NPC who recieved the money to put the hitlist up slowly loses faith that the target is someone enough people want dead and slowly turns on the person who posted the hit. so after 7 days the NPC reveals the home city of the hitlister and after 14 days the NPC reveals the district of the hitlister and after like 30 days or something he reveals the crew of the hitlister (or the name of the hitlister if he/she is uncrewed) just a thought i had to help balance out the hitlist in situations where the community clearly isnt going to act on the opportunity thoughts? |

thats part of the gamble someone would have to take, you either dont pay it off and hope to find out whoever hitlisted you is still alive after a long enough time and that nobody takes the shot at you OR you pay it off and never worry about it again. as per the location thing i understand that thats why i suggested similar timelines to give vague options tyler taking shots again would be nice to see all these added to the hitlist would make it much more fleshed out in general as opposed to someone just burning cash and forcing others to burn cash. even when the name or info about the hitlister is given the hit would still stay up, as it does when the hitlister is eventually killed anyway by random chance or by being discovered besides if were aiming for "kind of realistic" situations, nobody can keep a secret forever thats why i suggested this to begin with |

Also disagree. While it may seem fruitful now, hitlisting is just an archaic part of the game. I don't think its good at all and really is just an old part of the game that never really advanced, but it's still what it is. I don't think Tyler should shoot anyone as Z mused, since it encourages people with lots of credits or $$$$ to make powerful players bend to their will, should they be hitlisted. I think in the scenario, someone anonymously gave the $$ to someone who put the word out. The person has no idea who it was and in their line of work, wouldn't want to know. |

I believe this change would just result in people using throwaway names or sending money to their friends' new names to post hits for them. I guess I don't really see how this would impact the balance of things. |

Toby- it just seems like a reason to purge people. As if there aren't enough reasons if people want to do that rather than pay the hitlist off or die to it. Which negates the point of using anonymous in the first place. |

It is literally the only reason to want to see who is posting the hits. |
