I think it would be cool if we got our money in our bank given through inheritance to our new character.

Or it could be a thing for the people who have spent IRL money for MR money.

Report Post Tip

This is already in play as credits, perks, gifts, property and so on, they carry on through death and into your next character, the only thing that doesn't carry on is the cash you decide not to earmark as to be carried on as credits.

Report Post Tip

Yeah i get that, but I know people who've spent a ton of money, I just think they should be able to keep their money through inheritance, or at least like 50%

Just my opinion tho

Report Post Tip

they can keep their money if they convert it to credits. the game bank is as stable as a bank should be. i could see adding a safety deposit box type style of banking but that kind of already exists through credits

Report Post Tip

Oh yeah that's right, I forgot about that.

I am wondering if DR meant after sudden death?

Report Post Tip

Yeah, most don't necessarily know when they will die. For instance my last death I wasn't informed of anything, just an instant death and a no don't do that after. For the people who spend money on this game, they should get their MR money back imo.

You 100% control how much money you lose when you die.  You can die and lose 0 - that's an active choice.  You also have the freedom of choice on how much money you want to leave your kid, and how much you choose to put at risk. If you decide that you only want to risk losing 50k, then you only have 50K in cash, the rest in the untouchable currency that goes to your children when you die - credits.  If you want to risk 10 mill, you can run 10 million in cash and the rest of your money in the 'doesn't die, goes straight to your kids' credit system that is already in the game.

I can rename Credits to "Inheritance #1" and "Credit Savings Account" to "Inheritance #2" if it helps guide your choice into choosing to put it towards your kid, or put it at risk by choosing not to.

How can you control how much you leave your kin

Report Post Tip

There is obviously a disconnect here, so rather than me just copy/pasting from above where I explained this, can you re-read the thread and let me know which of my answers are not clear so that I can further expand on it?

Report Post Tip

Simply put, you can control the amount of money to save for your next run by always transferring them into credits and keeping only the cash that you don’t mind risk losing if you died on you.

so if you are rich on this character and feel like leaving your kin some money, let’s say 50 mil, then buy 100 credits and if you died, your next character will have 100 credits worth 45~50 million. If you keep money on you then you weren’t planning to leave them any for your next kin.

Report Post Tip

Yeah, technically you're not buying "Game Cash" when you spend money on this game, you get currency in form of credits which your next character inherits.
