Being rogue means leaving the family or refusing to join one. Just in case your daughter decides to follow a similar path, fyi, you do not need to buy out to retire. Try another horseshit excuse, because that one does not fly. You don't like being told to sit down and shut up? Get the fuck out of this business, because it is filled with rude and crude people. A mafia Boss does not kiss you goodnight and make sure you have a warm glass of milk bedside. This goes for your children, and anyone else who might be listening who still does not get it. | LargeHamster had his reasons for the takedown of DaKine. You may not like it because it was your family that he decided needed to go. He felt as though DaKine was not holding up to his part in the betterment of our society and acted based on his beliefs. People of the killed family will always have something to say, and make the killers seem like the bad people, it's almost like a tradition around these parts. He did it, it's the past, we have more to deal with at the time. Not to say just get over it, because my fathers have been in the same position, but there is nothing you can do about it. Daera, with all due respect, if Largehamster doesn't have the balls to tell my mother she didn't earn her promotion, than she was better off getting out of that shit hole. Honestly. And that's exactly what she did. The man is a Don, and he has to make "excuses" as to why he wont promote a Wise Guy? I have nothing but respect for you FlyingPig, but sometimes I feel you speak without knowing the full story. I'm sure most of what you said would still hold if you did know the full story, but my mother was very aware that she didn't need to buy out to retire. My mother bought out so that when she did retire, she wasn't part of LargeHamster's family. Like she said, it was for personal reasons. She never once said she had to buy out to retire, so there was no horseshit trying to fly here. My mother also never said she should decide when she deserved to get Made. My mother did decide to drop from a family that requires you to sit in a coffee shop to get promoted. It was physically impossible for her to get into the coffee shop. She knew she might die from that decision, and she did. But she died a very happy Made Man. My mother's only regret was joining another family after she bought out, not buying out. |

OhCrap, DaKine didn't promote my mother, Corleone_Jr did. DaKine decided not to promote my mother for the time being. She was ok with that. But she felt she had a chance at the promotion without having to sit in a coffee shop to achieve it. I would love to sit here all day and debate this very interesting topic, but for the love of God, please get your facts straight before you speak. This is the second time you accused my mother of something that you so obviously know nothing about (the first being that my mother didn't apologize to LargeHamster, when she did). |

With that being the definitive action that brought on unbridled slaughter of your mother's new family, I'm not fucking surprised. Not that I can fully believe that regret of course, since everything else you've one your mother's behalf said stinks of shit. Why did your mother join another family if she had no intention of continuing her life as a mobster? Unless, of course, she was so keen to die a Made member that she led Rubiki, and by association DaKine, up the garden path. Either way, I'd say your mother's utter idiocy has ruined any prospect of your bloodline getting Made again for quite some time, or at least it should've done. "As far as I knew, the subject was closed, and I would never get Made, since I wasn't able to go into the coffee shop." This statement says it all for me. Not matter how much you try to qualify that statement and explain it away; the facts will remain blindingly clear. Your mother was an arrogant little pissant who thought they know better than their Boss. On the other hand, it could be that this was another misunderstanding, that before your mother clarified her position with LargeHamster, she bought out. Did LargeHamster actually say "Since you will not make an appearance at the coffeeshops, I will not promote you." or anything of this ilk? I highly doubt he did, so your mother had either already made up her mind and had planned on leaving anyway and saw this as a perfect reason to go; or she'd not really listened to what LargeHamster was telling her and did not make enough of an effort to find out the full story. Either way, considering you and your mother have both publicly berated LargeHamster for both having a poor reasoning and refusing to resolve this with diplomacy; I find this all very ironic. Ha ha ha. |

| Branston, funny you used the word diplomacy. Should diplomacy be exercised by only some and exempted from others? If LH decided to practice some diplomacy, shouldn't he have contacted DaKine and said look this is what happened, i feel such and such, and then resorted to using his gun if the problem was not resolved? Diplomacy...I don't think many of the CL's even use it. LH is no different than the other mugs and nuts who look for any excuse to use his gun. The only difference is that he has a "reason" by which many of you think is diplomatic. | |
