The Property Marketplace is open. For the first time a deed can change hands between players. Put a property up at your price and anyone with the cash can take it off you. No haggling, no private handshakes, no favors: the price is the price, first come first served.

Selling. The place has to be unassigned and the cops paid up for at least three weeks. Name your price. Listing costs nothing. It goes live three hours after you post it, so the whole city gets a look before anyone can grab it, and it stays on the market for seven days. Let it run past that and it goes quiet; a refresh is $5,000 for another week, or leave it a week more and it comes down on its own. You keep the building either way, and you can pull a listing any time. Nothing you have already paid comes back.

Buying. Pick a city, or hit ALL, and buy at the asking price. The House takes an administrative fee of 25% of the listed price on top, paid by the buyer. The deed transfers on the spot with a fresh 30-day bribe on it, and the seller has the cash in hand before you can refresh the page.

Keeping your name off it. Every sale goes into the Public Deed Registry for that city with both names on it for a month. If you would rather not be read about, hire a Pettifogger: 25% of the listed price, on either side of the deal, and the shady lawyer's name goes on the deed instead of yours. Forever.
