Y'know, appearances can be deceiving.

You can look at somebody and think you know exactly what kind of person they are, only to find out later you were completely wrong.

I've seen people talk a big game and disappear when things got difficult. I've also seen people I barely expected anything from step up when it actually mattered.

That tells you a lot more than words ever will.

TheTripleDeuce takes a long drag from his cigar and looks around at the city.

Philadelphia has taken plenty of hits over the years, but we're still standing.

Businesses come and go. People come and go. Things change.

That's just how it is.

What matters to me is the people who are still here.

I've got some good people around me, and I'm happy to have them with me. I might give them shit from time to time, but I suppose that's part of the deal. Isnt that right Bruiser?

People on the outside can make whatever assumptions they want.

They don't know what goes on behind closed doors, and honestly, they don't need to.

I know who's been there when it counted.

That's good enough for me.

Philadelphia is still standing, and so are we.
