| 1st Annual Bodyguard Championship Competition | Started by: Ruby26 on Oct 04, '26 14:50 |

I confronted the mayor with some damaging information. His face went pale as soon as he realized what was in my envelope. The Mayor was willing to negotiate. He would do whatever was necessary to keep the contents from becoming public knowledge. That was when I spotted a flyer on sitting on the Mayor's desk. Taking the flyer in hand I read it. The 1st Annual Bodyguard Championship Competition to be held in the fall. I currently had 19 bodyguards. Surely one of them could enter this contest and win. I was amused thinking about the fact there could be a fashion component to this competition. So I would instructed my boys to step up their debonair style. Plus it would be useful to know where they fall on various professional skills. I call the number posted on the flyer to learn more details, while sitting at the Mayor's desk. I discovered they would be rated on defensive driving, marksmanship, hand to hand combat, emergency extraction, situational awareness and physical fitness. The prizes included cash of course, but also a week at a bodyguard training camp and a vacation package. So I would definitely want someone in my crew to qualify and enter the contest. Leaving the Mayor's office, with the flyer safely tucked in my purse. I would imagine other bodyguards in the city would apply. But they would soon learn mine were pros. With the Mayor temporarily in my pocket. Now I would focus on hiring a professional safecracker to teach me how to work the ones with dials. Who knows what valuable information cracking a safe could uncover in the future. |

| For clarification this is a story not an actual contest. You may treat it like a role play story and enter your best Bodyguards into the mix. | |
