The news of Aizen's death hit the news waves quick as the men digested the end of the war. You could feel the relief hit the room as the men all let out a sigh and immediately started to send messengers to notify the others, giving orders to clear out the rest and set fire to the various buildings across the nation. It had been almost one week of conflict with both sides almost losing everything and now the time to rebuild had arrived. Putting his cigar out he stood up from his chair, cracking his old back in 100 places as he looked at the map of the nation on the wall putting his finger on Detroit. Striphe was no stranger to this lifestyle as his father had ran a family before his death so he had been around the business and seen the inner workings. He knew the shipping routes, who to pay off and how to keep the drug supplies constant so the customers stayed happy and high. He watched his father work his way up the ranks and gain a name for himself with the crime leaders who ran the nation. Loyalty and dedication had been pounded into his head at home while growing up, almost like he was being groomed to be a mobster. Sitting back down at the desk he started to draft a letter to the mobsters across the nation. His pen pressing against the paper as his thoughts raced about all of his lost friends and those who gave all for us so that we could be where we are now I remember reading stories about old regimes, new regimes... this person, that person and oh wow definitely avoid that person. I will not sit here and pretend our world is not complicated with a lot of emotions and old bad blood. Hell at one point or another we all worked together or fought each other like a old timer mentioned recently. I grew up on these streets kid.. been here about as long as most people have been alive and I joke that I have seen it all but at least enough to know a thing or two maybe. My family has worked for both regimes, running successful families and making good friends without the politics or hatred most spend their life engulfed in. I remember when this old mobster named Grin mentioned "Just work hard for your family" and I implore every mobster to do just that as you never know what can happen. It is an uphill battle...life is and always has been but the reward can be worth every step. We have a housing crisis and a lot of mobsters need a good solid foundation to build on so I want to introduce you all to the newest Detroit family - The Redeemed Ones Striphe finished writing the last word before motioning to his men to take the letter and distribute it across the nation. Setting his pen down on the desk he looked outside, looking over the Detroit skyline as he imagined the future. |
