taz_ was standing under the elevated tracks in Queens, New York, when Dante_Ravello stepped into the crosswalk. He hollered Dante's name as the last car rattled past. Dante turned. A single shot to the face put him down.

A dollar on the hitlist. The cab over had cost him two.

taz_ stuffed the pistol into his coat, yanked the lid off a garbage can and rang it against the lamppost hard enough to bend the rim.

taz_: "TNT! I got a dollar from Dante. Send another one out. I'm still short on cab fare."

The lid slipped out of his hand and rolled into the street. He stopped it with his heel.

taz_: "ShangTsung! That's one less man to pro you. If it don't matter, get your ass down here and say so."

A cab leaned on its horn. taz_ pointed the driver around to keep it moving and kept his foot on the lid.
