It has been some time since DNO burst into the public consciousness with two audacious, mesmerising and meticulously planned assassinations. These were the most popular assassinations since Godfathers –Premeir and Roman were killed during the Winter of Discontent. Descendants of the Kuklinski dynasty have always said that good operations are the best recruiting sergeant – and so it was. DNO personnel were approached by many solid members of our community – they despised the Premeir bloodline and applauded the “have a go” attitude and strongman leadership that DNO represented. They came to us and we let them in. A hit team was assembled, a WiseGuy named PremierTheGreat was targeted – the hit was ready to go and then… A DNO sympathiser informed us that we were rumbled – that our co-ordinator was about to get killed and that we had a stool pigeon amongst the feral DNO cats. This was a shattering blow.


DNO stopped Prem’s bloodline dead in their tracks for six months – no mean feat. DNO personnel punished the guilty with BG kills, costing our enemies millions of dollars and causing a loss of prestige and a lot of paranoia. Why then, from this position of strength, are we bowing out?


Basically, the reasons are threefold. Underground life is hard, costly and stressful. Support is measured and discreet – the applause is muted. All my bloodline’s life, all I have ever wanted to do is write – inform and entertain. I’ve wanted to wear tweeds and plus fours, sip coffee in a bohemian cafe and pontificate. But as an artist, my bloodline has been bestowed with a firm sense of what is right and what is wrong. We care about this community – and I swore a blood oath that I would protect all that is good and fight all that is bad. Lastly, my bloodline was betrayed – DeadlySin’s finger was on the trigger but the murderer was, I am reliably informed, on the fringes of DNO. 


Why is Prem no longer our target? Because the miscreant, scumbag snitch is. Or his son or his grandson. You hear me talking? You’re going to be hounded. I know who you are and your time will come. 


My bloodline is living the straight life, for now, rarely venturing into these Streets or living this life. But rest assured – once I have been largely forgotten, I will return. With the Kuklinski flourishes and panache that has defined the most legendary bloodline to have walked these shores.
