We are in the works of planning the 2012 MR User meet and wanted to start getting a headcount.
The meet is being held in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania (a little more than an hour north of Philly) from Saturday the 20th until Saturday the 27th
We actually have the house from October 19th - 28th, thus allowing us an extra day for setup/cleanup, so feel free to come a day early or leave a day late, but you will be put to work :)
Whhhhhat is the user meet you ask? Its a week long even that involves everything from alcohol, the MR special olympics, purple dildos, new feature brainstorms, BBQs, outings, trip to the casino, sometimes herpes, and often vomiting. All our users of past and present that are 21+ in age are welcome to attend.
This year, the house is a 4,400 Sq Ft chalet that sleeps 22, with 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, hot tub & game room with pool table, arcade games, poker table and so on.
Whats it cost? Heres the breakdown:
Cost of house divided by number of people.
Plus+
Cost of food/supplies divided by number of people.
Plus+
Refundable $1,000 security deposit divided by number of people.
Estimated Cost: (Assuming 18 people, which is the ideal amount that everyone is comfortable spacewise)
Total cost of house $2,550 ($2,350 for the house, + $200 cleaning fee)
Cost of food/supplies for 18 people = $1,200
If 18 people go: $208.33 each plus $55.55 refundable security deposit.

As a side note, transportation from airport to house will be arranged, there is no need to rent a vehicle unless you want to venture out on your own. |
