I want to tell you all a little story, and in this story there is a man named Johnny. I'm going to tell you about an event Johnny had experienced and then you to tell me what makes sense. One day on a beautiful Sunday morning, Johnny woke up to the smell of birds chirping at his window and the smell of a grill cooking chicken seeping through his bedroom window, which made Johnny awfully hungry. So he woke up, threw on his nicely pressed suit, with hat to match, and stepped out the front door. He took a deep breathe then decided that since it was such a lovely day, he'd walk to the local Deli. He reaches Main street, finds a local drug dealer and makes one hell of a profit off the Heroin he had picked up while out of town. Now he has cash in his pocket and Johnny is feeling good. He passes the local bank, looks and smiles at the at the thought of putting it in the bank since it's such a lovely Sunday. What could go wrong on a day like this? Besides, Johnny just enjoys to have the feeling of cold hard cash on his money clip in his suit pocket. He reaches a cross walk which leads to the corner of where his favorite deli stood. He waits for the go ahead and begins to cross. While singing a tune in his head and high on life, a slightly shorter man bumps into him. "Hey watch where your going eh? You might bump into the wrong person," Johnny stated. The man who bumped into him didn't turn to acknowledge, instead he speed up the pace and continued his route. "Fucking Dunski," Johnny mumbled as he reaches for the door to the Deli. "Good day Johnny, what can I do your for?" Paul, the owner asked. "Hey Paulie, I'd like something simple today, how about one of your special Sandwiches you do so well." "No problem Johnny," Paul replies as he goes on to make the order. "How much do I owe ya?" "1.25 Johnny" As Johnny nods he reaches into his suit and realizes, his money clip containing is nice little profit is no longer there. "THAT SON OF A BITCH!" Johnny screamed while running out the door. Needless to say, Johnny's whole day was ruined for he didn't get to enjoy his lovely Deli sandwich. So instead, Johnny goes to every non Family mafioso lurking around and begins throwing accusations around. Poor Johnny, now he looks like the Dunski. So let me ask you, do you feel sorry for Johnny? Of course not, because he should have been smarter and put his profits in the bank correct? That's how I feel about some of the complaints I have been hearing as of late. If you have been pick pocketed, with the knowledge of it being a high probability that it will happen since we live in a world full of crime, do you really think your leadership is going to take the time and hunt down the guilty party? Absolutely not. We all know the risks, we all know to keep the money in the bank and if your not, then your putting yourself into those positions and it is not up to your leadership to track every hoodlum that saw an opportunity and took it. So take a lesson from Johnny, if you want your profits safe, deposit them. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, don't want to miss that. As for the accusations, why make them? Is it really worth the trouble of looking silly of accusing the wrong Mafioso? No it doesn't, you know the the possibility is out there, it's up to you to take the proper precautions to protect your funds. Moral of this story? DON'T BE A DUNSKI! |

Listens to his friend tell the story and chuckles I agree, If you can stand to loose the dough by all means carry it on you. But if you dont want to reach in your pocket and feel nothing but what the good lord gave you, then bank it. Great story and a moral to boot. Sips from his flask and raises it to StonedSilent |

Stoned, you say you should have your money in the bank etc. But what if you have withdrawn money to do business? There is no way to completely protect yourself from the sly gangsters who pickpocket to make their money. My solution to this is...put your money in the crotch of your underwear. I don't think too many people will reach in there to get your money, and if they do, there are two things to grab, if they miss...you'll know. |

| I agree with Uncle Paa. I'd be more willing to put some of my money in the bank if it didn't just stagnate in there. That being said, if you're walking around a city with a hundred grand in your pocket like you own the place, pick pocketing should be the least of your worries. | |

listens attentively to stoned and takes in the words of wisdom that he is telling i agree completely lifes to short these days to carry that much money around in cash, youths these days think that they can take whatever they want, regardless if its theirs or not, banking it is definitely the way forward. pulls out a cigarette lights it and wanders off to deposit her money into the nearest bank Noones going to get their hands on my well earned cash! |

Listens to the views of the people on the street I disagree, If someone pick pockets you and gets away with it. Good for them, nice job and well done. Someone pickpockets me, and get away with it. I wont hold it against them, il just return the favour when i see them next. Pickpocketing is a crime. Which person in here is against crime? You can't pick and choose the ones you like, this is life you chose so learn to live it! |

Monty grins at the smell of a decent discussion "Yes, pickpocketing is a crime, and I'm not saying I don't like it, I'm just saying that with my money being mine, if someone steals it, I see two options, either they return it, or I take it to the next level, saying you shouldn't defend your hard earned money falls right in along with what you said, if you choose to defend it by commiting the crime of murder, we can't say that is really wrong either, it is justified in my opinion, that, someone steals from me, I steal from them, life, money, same thing on a certain level. Then again, I very well could be wrong, this is just how I see things." |

Nods in agreement also Yeh i can't disagree with that. A pickpocketer should expect his victim to seek revenge, as 99% of people would seek it. However you can't complain that some people choose to pay their bills with your hard earned cash, and if they get away with it, then fair play to them. We live here with crime being the No1 industry, meaning that it is all around us and we should expect it. |

Noob listens to the story eating his deli, thinking about the poor sod who didn't bank his cash. Hi finish's his sandwich and speaks up. You tell me not to be a "Fucking Dunski" but I quite like the kid. Not many people have the balls to rob a mafioso as we all know the risk tends to be life threatening, but.... I like being a Dunski, if you are gonna have some money on hand at the time I'm feeling hungry, I'll be the Dunski that takes liberties!! Noob wonders off looking for his next pay check |

| Heh, well, Noob is also right, this is a very double edged sword as it were, you can argue both sides all day, if the "Dunksi" gets away with it, then more power to him, but if he gets caught he's as good as dead, as it was said, 99% of the time. So, either way you look at it someone gains and someone losses. | |
