Blackjack Dealer steals 1.8 Million Started by: The_Falcon on Aug 13, '08 15:37
........In other news, a Local Detroit blackjack dealer has been found murdered today. His body was discovered outside one of the many casino's in downtown Detroit. We located one of the suspects earlier today, and he gave us his shocking testimony on what had happened that fateful night.......

"Well, I had just gotten off work and decided to stop by the casino. I had heard the advertisements over the radio about a few new casino's going up, but didn't want to fly anywhere. So instead I went to the place in downtown Detroit. This has been a familiar place to me, and I can still remember blowing my life savings as a kid. Well this time it was a little different. I walked through the large glass doors, and immediately went to my bank. (Which was conviently located in the casino) I stepped into the my bankers office and we made small talk with each other. Near the end of our conversation, I asked him to pull out my funds for me.. Cash. He escorted me to the back of the vault and unlocked my safety deposit box. Inside lay several briefcases and a few bundles of money. The briefcases had been specially made the week before to hold exactly one million dollars. All of them were made from snakeskin and had my initials in gold near the handle. One of them was filled, and the rest were empty. All togther I had about 1.2 million dollars."

The reporter looked up in disbelief. One point two million? She asked!

"Yes ma'am 1.2 million. Anyways, I decided to take half a million with me and go to the blackjack tables. I headed to the V.I.P lounge which was located near the back of the casino, and started placing bets. Mostly $25,000 bets, but every now and then a $250,000 bet. Within 10 minutes I was looking at 1.5 million dollars. Needless to say, I was exited. I scooped up my money and ran to my banker. He did a little bit of math, and then deposited my funds, handing me a plain white receipt with black numbers on it. 2.3 MILLION! Ecstatic I rushed to the phone to call an old friend."

"I would have sure liked to be your friend at that moment, the reporter gawked"

"I dialed in AnneMarie's number and told her how much I won. She too was amazed. For days I had been hearing how much she would love to be a millionaire, so I decided to be very generous. While still on the phone I waved my banker over and scribbled out a note that said to transfer $640,000 to AnneMarie's bank account. Within a few minutes he came back and said that all of the funds had been sent back. I was still on the phone, so I asked her why she hadn't taken the money. She said that it was my money, and she couldn't accept it. I was a little hurt, but decided to make a deal with her."

"She didn't take the money? That is truly amazing" The reporter commented.

"Look Anne, I'm going to take out a million dollars and go back to the blackjack table. If I double this then you get that $640,000. Before she could answer, I hung up the phone and rushed back to my banker. I need a briefcase sir, quick. over the tellers counter he handed me one of my custom cases, and I rushed back to the blackjack table. This time it took a little bit longer to win, but in no time I was looking at 2 Million dollars."

"Two million dollars? You gotta be fuckin' kiddin me!" The reporter added.

"Once again I rushed back to my banker and handed him all of my money, telling him to transfer the money back to Anne, and deposit the rest. Without question he did so, and I rushed back to the payphone. I dialed Anne's number but this time she didn't answer. "Hi you've reached the house of StonedSilent and AnneMarie. Sorry were not able to take your call at the moment but if you leave your name and phone number after the beep we will get back to you. Thanks!" "Anne, look. I turned that million into two million! So I had my banker wire you that money. Please don't send it back this time, if you don't want it, give it to the boss."

"The boss? What do you mean boss? The reported added"

"Erm... We call one of our buddies that. Anyways, I went back to the bank and asked how much available funds I had. "You have about 2.5 million Mr. Falcon" Alright, give me two briefcases, one empty and one full. She went to the back and handed me two briefcase, and once again I was headed back to the blackjack table."

"Back again? The blackjack dealer smirked."

"As a matter of fact I am. I made small talk with the dealer while I was playing, and before I knew it I had filled my two briefcases. I rushed back to my banker and deposited the money once again. Asking to use the banks phone this time. Anne picked up and I told her what had happened. She was starstruck, she couldn't believe, and neither could I. While still on the phone with Anne, my banker printed me out another receipt... at the bottom in black ink was a very, very handsome number. $3,386,140. I stared and repeated the number over the phone. Listen up Anne, Im going to take another million to the table... and if I come back with 2 million, I'm donating it to the Boss!"

"So what your telling me Mr. Falcon, is that you were a multi-millionaire?"

"Yes Ma'am. And once again I took two briefcases with me to the table. One Empty and One full. It started out like normal, a few small bets and every now and then A large one. I was keeping track of how much I won, and when I was at about 1.8 Million, I placed a $250,000 bet."

"That's quite a wager sir."

"Yes I know, but what happens next almost makes me faint. In the blink of an eye, he grabs my briefcases and runs full speed out the door. I one dollar bills slips out of his pocket and floats into the air. I grab the bill, and stand there utterly amazed. WHAT THE FUCK! I run to one of the pitboss's and explain what happened. "Stay here for a second, do not move" He pulls a radio up to his hand and mumbles a few code words. In an instant, a few dozen men in black suites rush out the door. I stayed with the pitboss and he reassured me that everything possible was be done to get my money back. I thanked him a few times, and answered all the questions he asked me."

"Wow, the managers were actually helping you get your money back?" the reporter said sounding amazed.

"Yes, and he was very friendly about it. I kept checking my pockets and I still had only one dollar. I rushed to the bank and asked how much available funds I had. The number 2.6 Million was returned to me, and I smiled just a hair. All of a sudden 3 large men came bursting in the door. One man had my briefcase's and the other two were holding the dealer. The pitboss (the man who I had contacted earlier) took the briefcases and looked them over. TF the man asked? Yes sir, those are my initials. TF, The_Falcon I told him. He handed me my money back, and I was shocked. Completely shocked. "

"So at this point in time you had 4.4 Million?

"Yes, I did."

"But that still doesn't answer the question on how he ended up dead...."

"Well, I haven't finished yet. Anyways, we were standing there, with this blackjack dealer being held against his will. Then the pitboss stepped in front of him and presented him with two options. Either A) They settle it like men in the back. or B) They let the authorities take care of it. The man wisely chose the second option. "Take him to the holding cell in the back" The man yelled."

"So he chose to go to Prison.... am I getting this right?

"Yes. They took the man into the back and apologized numerous times about what had happened. I Thanked them for all their help and went to the bank. Deposited all of my money except a million dollars and headed to my HQ. Ermm.... I mean house. There I met up with my boss... ermmmm friend I mean.... and had a few beers and told her the story. Giving her A million dollars at the end of the story."

"That was truly an amazing story Mr. Falcon. Well, that about wraps up all the time we have today, and let me remind our listeners that you will always here it first on WXB 103.4!"

This story is NOT a work of fiction. This happened to me last night at the casino in Detroit. I (of course) was The_Falcon, and Izzy was the "Pitboss"

P.S. I would like to thank you once again Izzy!
