There is fuck all for me to add here. All I can say is that OhCrap and co. were sick of trying to give you opportunities to earn your Made button. You were too lazy to take them up on any of their offers to mentor a new arrival to these shores and to our family.
So I approached you and said directly to you that you needed to earn your Made Man, youre not gonna coast it, then I offered you your opportunity in the same damned mail, for you to look out for a new member. So you go and buy out? As opposed to actually earning your Made Man??? I can't do much more than tell you what you need to do and offer you the opportunity.

This is the kind of nonsense that really makes me shudder in the context of this thing of ours. Some wise guy thinking that just because he has met the absolute minimum requirement for getting his button, then he deserves it. Wrong. You will know you have met your leader's requirements for Made Man on the day he/she promotes you to Made Man....until then, you knuckle down, work harder, show more initiative, communicate more, do whatever it takes without complaint.
Or you can complain publicly and waste your work to this point by getting yourself killed. I know which I'd choose.
As SoundWarnings has pointed out, your donations versus actual earnings weren't very impressive at all, so perhaps that would have been a place to start. |

Actually, it goes without saying that Don Daera does not owe you or anyone an explanation, just as he does not owe you or anyone a promotion that hasn't been earned. 1. Just because you think you deserve Made Man doesn't mean you do. That distinction rests soley in the hands of the head of your Family. I think I deserve a case of beer and a hooker--that doesn't mean Alessia will give it to me. Though I remain hopeful that when my birthday rolls around...
