Today was a great day for me I received an honor from my boss which I know first hand is not given around lightly the honor of being a Made Man. As I am sure you will all understand the joy of seeing all my hard work being payed off. Now before I recieved my honor I read some words from my boss about the meaning of being Made and the capabilitys you can possess... Every Made Man has the ability to buy his own HQ in any city, run a family of his own and therefore wield his gun at whomever he chooses, though not without harsh consequences should he choose that path. Now my family has been around these shores for many generations and have seen many people come and go from the great cities some reaching the ranks of Made or even higher. Now its not for me to say if they deserved there titles or not which got me thinking of what goals I would like to achieve and how I would like to be rememberd since I have not reached that stage in my life where if chosen one day I myself could run a family of my own. So what I would like to know from you all is Hypatheticaly Speaking with New Orleans being an empty city what would you do with it if you were given the chance to leave your mark on the history books. The city would be totaly your own, you would answer to no one but yourself. How would you make New Orleans be rememberd? How would you run your own family? What rules would there be for your city? What changes would you make? Just a few things to think about to give you some ideas. Now you can answer this as light heartedly as you like or put some thought into it and who knows you might sell yourself to the right people. The man takes a seat and looks eager to see what new ideas and crazy schemes have been lurking in the minds of everyone from the different cities |

Shade sits and listens, taking a few notes. After seeing no one respond, he steps up. Hmm... I have been thinking about this for a while. It is an excellent topic to speak of. First, it is difficult to think of what being a CL is like, until you are one. There are few things in this world of ours that compare to the honor of having you own family. (Apart from being a family captain, that is.) So, you must try and prepare yourself by any means possible. This could mean, taking a while to pick RHM and LHM, or just working with your boss to make the family captaincy be great. Just to note, no one in my ancestry has ever been a CrewLeader, I was speaking from spectating, and watching CLs come and go. Second, Made Man. The act of your boss promoting you to Made Man is so important, that it has almost become rare that some get it. Most likely because it means that people can stick close to the family, and help it grow, or leave the family an try to make it on their own. So, to think that someone granted with such a powerful promotion would leave their family, is outrageous. However, stranger things have happened. Third, New Orleans. It has been vacant for a while. It didn't really need a family there, with plenty of space in the current families. However, after the recent, much-debated, death of TM-Scarface, we have 3 CLs and 2 captains to hold the inflow of new Mafiosos. So, it may seem nice for someone to jump into the southernmost station of organized criminal activity, and lead it to greatness. It would bring variety to the world we have now, and perhaps even allow our world as a whole to grow. Shade realizes he has reached the end of his notes. He removes his reading glasses, folds them up and places them in his pocket, and ventures over to hear what other people are speaking about. |
