Out of a roleplay point of view I totally support this. It makes sense for an officer to beat you up or put you in jail, if he sees you. But...

There should be a balance between pros and cons of a feature. Is pickpocketing out of balance now?

Can someone explain to me what the pros of pickpocketing are? Do you have a substantial advantage when you pickpocket, compared to someone who doesn't? This questions should be answered first in my opinion.

I myself don't know the answers, maybe someone else does.

I think this makes total sense to have in the game, It adds more realism to Corrupt Agents. Perhaps CA's could carry around some more cash if there is a risk of being jailed aswell to help increase the risk/reward aspect of Pick pocketing them.

I support enkindle's thought process on this. Officers can be having the worst day of their life maybe they wouldn't be so generous. It could just be his average day or maybe the officer just got out of a date and the significant other is still around. All these situations would call for seperate outcomes.

Currently there is no harm in pickpocketing officers. I think they wouldn't just let you push them around all the time. The whole idea of this would give players a reason to think twice about attempts to steal from the law.

Let's not forget that home city should count for something so maybe the chances of something awful occurring from an officer of the same home city could be reduced slightly. After evaluating everything this would progess the pickpocket aspect a bit.
