Personally, I don't see anything wrong with an "early" street presence. If what you wish to do is speak your mind I don't think anyone has the right to stop you unless you are being disrespectful to the people around you. If street presence is what someone wants to achieve why should they hold back if they find a topic interesting?

pushing 'youngins' from the street just further promotes the click money families. that is the last thing this world needs

Sorry folks, and thank you for your valued input while we were horsing around. I have to agree, obviously, that an early street presence can only help you in "this thing of ours" as long as it is used in a respectful way. There is nothing wrong with having a bit of fun as long as you try to keep on topic throughout.  I think we should also encourage the younger generation to participate, and maybe have some street competitions for incentive. Anyone having any ideas on this please feel free to share.

If the topic is well thought out, relevant and respectful, at no time will it be judged in a bad light. Be it a young thug, or a wise guy trying to get some street presence to earn his button.

And on the other hand, drivel, insult and dumb topics will always be looked down upon.

And don't get me started on the conspiracy theories by the lazy newcomers... ugh!

Its sad really. But how about the alternative? Is no street presence better than silly sometimes rediculous street presence? I think they both have their time and place, and maybe right now some just need to vent and get it out of their system before they can move on properly.

Do you really wish to deter us from speaking in the streets. These streets are bare and poor enough as it is already without having to make sure its ok to speak up being a low ranker.

I have never been one to hold my tongue and I doubt I ever will be. Speaking your mind is not attention seeking. We should be encouraging lower ranks and those new gangsters to speak in the streets, it may breath some life back into them.

No one expects you to speak like Socrates when you are just starting out. I'm sure the majority of people would applaud a fair attempt, as the more they try, the better they would get.

Bloch walks over to the wall that stands behind Bobby-Z. Deciding to put his own two cents in he pulls out his paint and brush. Writing on the wall with a very simple font, compared to his other works, a thought he had overheard from someone that stuck in his head. When he walked away his message became visible to the crowd.

When you give yourself permission to communicate what matters to you in every situation, you will have peace. Despite rejection or disapproval, putting a voice to your soul helps you to let go of the negative energy of fear and regret. So speak the fuck up!

As a new bloodline to this thing we do, I think it's imperative for a younger unknown to get at least his name out there. Regardless of the things he or she  says, (as long as they are somewhat intelligent), your name still gets out there. People start to notice.

As long as a youngblood uses the street to his advantage and doesn't step on any shoes, I think one should hit the streets often.

We have seen what can happen if someone intentionally disrespects someone in a position of power in these Streets, and its not pretty. Always be sure to stay respectful, even if you don't agree with what they are saying. We still all have the freedom to an opinion though, as long as it is not givin in a negative way.

I really can't think of better examples of this than some that we have heard on the street in the last week. Some were outright disrespectful. Some resulted in death. Some obviously had some time invested into them but were not taken well by the audience.

I think there is still hope for our streets though, and I forcast a rise in street activity in the future. I hope each of us can encourage people to speak up. Don't be shy. As long as you speak with respect and know your place I have no doubt you will be recieved in a good way, at least by anyone that counts. Anyone that just wants to come to the street to spout bullshit and cause problems will most likely be met in kind, or ignored, well maybe not ignored. It seems we all have a soft spot for trolls sometimes. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)
