Since the Introduction of the Level and Rank categories we now have a way to handle the BG issue. When you get demoted it should drop your rank to the next rank down but keep your level the same.

This would have mutiple effects on the game, first it allows a intro in the reason for adding the level vs rank in the first place. It allows the CL to choos what rank you should be and if demoted then you will start with at the bottom xp for that rank and will have to earn xp until you reach your previous level. While this is happening your Level would not change until you have reearned the amount of xp that you had lost.

Second this would completly eliminate the demote for bgs and bring the orginal reason for demote back into play as a punishment not a reward.

Finally for all of those out there that will complain that is not fair for them to have to buy full price bgs when others where able to get theirs cheaper. This is something that has needed to be done for a long time, still to be fair a time should be set for this to be institued.Say 30 days or 60 or somesuch set deadline where you can continue to buy your bgs and then the game gets fixed at last.

I believe the cons would actually be: Potential either make credits cost a whole lot more or reduce the total credit purchases in general, this change is very drastic. I believe what you are suggesting is a reset basically.

I dont think taking away the demote for bodyguards would help the game in the long run. I would however like to see how other PC members feel about your suggestion.

I understand this game is a business and as such does have the potential to make a profit. If thats all the owners are worried about instead of gameplay then whats the point. It would not be a reset however as noone has to give up what they have.

Credits would probably be bought and sold more as they would need more credits to sell to pay for higher cost of bgs. It could potentially increase the cost of the credits but i would think the great supply would counter that.

The whole idea of level is to show how much EXP you have, when you demote and loose that EXP you loose the level too.

The way the BG cap is being done by Izzy is balancing out the amount of in game BG's fairly.

This suggestion is a reason to fix the unfair act of being demoted and buying cheap bgs. This issue must be fixed to balance the game properly. If not this way then another. Im not suggesting changing the cap or the amount of bgs people can own, simplying how they are purchased.

But this change would leave a massive imbalance between those who want to get bodyguards in the future, and those who already have them. Not a fan of this.

At what point do we decide that its time to fix the game? There is always gonna be a bodyguard inbalance. Heck there is right now, 99 percent of the game is either not protected or protected and the other 1% is EWP, OWP or IWP. Thats a imbalance there but noone complains because its done through hard work.

It's not an imbalance because everybody can use the same ways of buying bgs as those that have previously. Changing it now would create the imbalance.

I'll be honest I see nothing wrong with demoting for BG's, the people who have demoted for the BG's have usually put in a lot of hard work which is why the leader buys them. Stopping this will mean more people getting IWP on their next account based of their previous account which is a massive gamble to spend a minimum of $75,750,000 on a new account hoping that they will put in as much effort as before.
