Though it could be said that death, along with life, has no real meaning; we as humans strive to believe that there is a meaning to it all. That's all a bit deep though. We're mobsters, not philosophers. Except Philosophical_Psycho, who could quite feasibly be both. I'm not here to get into a philosophical debate anyway; not least because I'll get pummelled by the bloodline of Jon and their ridiculously long names. No. I'm here to shed some light on the meaning of war. But wait, surely everyone knows exactly what a mafia war is? Wrong. No matter how much you try and integrate the entire family into a war scenario, only the inner circle, the enforcers and other privileged mobsters, will ever know the true meaning of war. (Nevermind that saying that only the dead see the end of war - that's just total bollocks I'm afraid). Now, I realise I may be viewed as being a bit of an arrogant arse here by saying that all you mere peons know nothing; but unless you, or your bloodline has been in the centre of a war, then it's absolutely true. How many of you would realise, even as a Leader when one is supposed to weigh all options, that to take your family into war is to risk the lives of each and every one of your members? How many of you would stop to consider that your actions could lead to the death of all your comadres? I'd guess not many of you would. I'd guess most of you would simply plough into any war for which you had an excuse, not stopping to think of the consequences this could hold your own syndicate and the community as a whole. This is probably why you're not a leader, but that's another topic. Anyway, back to this joyously notional concept of responsibility. Other than the fact they didn't have enough of a reason to go on some wild crusade, it was probably a pervading sense of responsibility and logic that stopped Daera, Iris and Marietta from attacking Alessia, StonedSilent, or even each other. They were intelligent enough to weigh up the scales and realise that risking 60 plus members to sate a paranoid tingling was probably too much of a gamble. They were right too. The same cannot be said for Alessia and StonedSilent, who committed their members with a foolhardy gesture that was tantamount to suicide. The death of Kangaroo, God rest his soul, pronounced the death sentence on a great number of good people. While you may blame 'us' for carrying out this vile initiative, our hands were absolutely tied. What would you have us do, belittle our own authority by granting mercy to those who only hours before were trying to kill us? No, things like that will never happen in the Mob. So next time you want to denounce us as tyrants and fools for causing the deaths of you and your parents, remember that this was not of our own choosing. Remember that e did not choose to attack. Remember that we were forced to retaliate. Remember that it was the selfish, idiotic actions of your leaders that sealed your collective fates. |

And I agree totally you bit yourself, and your fellow Leaders who triumphed after being attacked upon must have bitten your lips when you had blood thirty war stirrers hounding at your doors, And bravo for that, You did the right thing. Could you have done any more to save more of your members or Kangaroo I'm sure you would have done so. I'm sure you will be honored the Rank of Don soon enough, God knows you deserve it. |

Richy listens to the other's and speaks a few workds himself "You know I wanna say something on this but I don't know what to say and maybe thats the best to say, but deep down I just got to say something if not I don't think I could just bury this. I'm not mad, sad, anger or seeking avengence or anything I will say im depressed. Of my fathers lose a great guy and I don't think had to many enemies and the way our crew handled things. Alessia fired the famous shot heard around the world and chaos broke out. I'm more mad at us than the attackers (didn't know what else to call you guys) we was not set up, we was not ready, we was not even lead to battle. At the time Gino, Sal Grossi and I and a few other guys was the only ones on when the shot was fired. We knew nothing about this shot Czar wasn't on JMK wasn't on or any Higher up at first we thought it was just Iris taking out Kangaroo we didn't have any idea there was about to be war. We blowed it off at first then we seen some of Alessia's people start to die and Gino told me wait now our guys are dying. I messed someone I think MCkidds and asked him what was going on we had no idea. None of our bosses was given a proer or RHM and I don't know if that's true I gotta ask flyingpig on that one. Cause I was in chicago watched pig land and JMK was gone. I'm mad at us for not informing others that this was happening and what was going on. I tried to ask Alessia and her words was go to your leader wich was not even on. I mean anyone tell me Did you guy's see any Higher ranks from the Red Gaurd Czar's crew. I think the left hand man was the only one that was on. So if our boss knew how come he didn't tell us to go to chicago for shelter or any of this. Why wasn't we prepared. Not saying we would of won but being prepared im sure would mad a big diff in the outcome. Instead of a sheppard seeing one wolf and shoot him and leave the flock to get slaughted by the other wolf's. I'd also like to say me writting this I hope it don't make me look like a bad person or disrespect my daddy's family but i'd least liked to know if im in a war im informed. R.I.P all that fought in this war with my daddy and died." Bows his head and wonders what others have to say |

| My Father was on the losing side of the war and I can honestly say that I harbour no hard feelings to Iris and the rest. Whats done is done, you had to defend yourselves and by doing so you killed many people. This is what comes with war and we shouldn't expect anything less. | |

Hearing Richy's words the teen starts to talk. I woke up this morning - well morning for me afternoon for the non-teenagers - to find my mother dead. I ran to the streets to learn what happend finding none of her old friends around and heard he speeches going off one after the other. I finally understood. War. Everyone was dead. I knew nothing, and nor did my mother to my knowlegde. But what is done is done we can not live in regret in this life. We move on, kill more, die and our daughters and sons move on for us. She turns around to listen to other answer on the matter. |
