This idea is pretty simply, when you log in I think there should be a checkbox to login securely (using https), or even a option in the options page which redirects you to the secure version if you try accessing the normal version (http). I'm not sure how many people use the https version currently but I think adding in a login with https would definitely make use of the ssl certificate.

Also connected to this, it would be good if this got implemented that the pages would display properly when using https. I have noticed that FireFox displays fine but Chrome doesn't.
