Well just like the topic says, it'd be cool if we could see our hq fortifications in 3d. HQ varies depending on the purchases made in upgrading it .sort of like that game knightfight .
cheers |

Text based game, 3d graphics don't fit with that. |

This game needs more pictures. I'd love if there were pictures for crimes, felonies and drugs too. |

I'm not trying to be a shit about things, but this is a text based role playing game. while we might have gotten slightly away from the roleplaying aspect, we're still a role playing game.its what makes MR so much different than other mafia games out there. |

This is a text based roleplaying game but primarily it is a game. And a game should provide pleasure and fun for its players. MR does that, but after you play a while you start coming back only because of the story aspect, and not the gameplay. We need more Mafia features such as rackets (which was posted), turf, profitable businesses etc. I don't see how pictures would be a negative addition, except for the fact that they would ruin the all-text aspect, but as I said, this is primarily meant to be fun. |

I would honestly like to see people start to get back into the role playing aspect of the game, instead of worrying about pictures to increase their interest. The thing that drew me into this game was the whole role playing scene. Everyone was in character, people role played in the streets, in businesses, in mails. I find that to be much more interesting than trying to include graphics and making this like other games. |

Roleplaying? What roleplaying? Nobody even posts roleplays anymore. |

Did you even read what I said before you busted in with your opinion? You obviously did not because what I said and your response actually are in a semi form of agreement, yet you seem like you're trying to be argumentative to my post. Please take the time to read everything before you respond and try to approach these conversations with a little less attitude. |

The whole point of a text based game is that is is based around text, not pictures. Pictures of any kind will cheapen the game in my opinion, and just make it tacky to look at. Even if it is just a 2D picture of a HQ, tacky and cheap. As for petties, felonies and other crimes, I can't express how much I'm against this. Some suggesstions just aren't meant to progress any further than this. As for nobody roleplaying anymore, that is exactly the problem, people NEED to be roleplaying, not looking at pictures. |

I was not trying to argue with you. You said that what drew you to this game was that it included roleplaying. I just said that nowadays, no-one posts true roleplays. |

Thank you Pratster. Joey, I basically said what you said, except in a more positive matter. Let me reiterate what I said... |

The idea of posting a thread and acting out various scenes has never really appealed to me. I don't think that it appeals to the majority of the people here any more either. I don't log in to read about your description of your clothes or to see how many times you puffed on a cigar, sorry but that is the truth. I don't hold it against the people who do like that kind of thing, but it certainly isn't everyone's bag. |

Well realistic mafia roleplaying on a site where you can lose your account is impossible as it takes place just in 20's or 30's. How many "ancestors" has each of the regulars had? Roleplaying your character's daily life is suitable for a forum but not this. |

Some allowances are necessary to accommodate for where we are and the medium through which we play. If you put any aspect of the game under a microscope, you can comfortably start to poke holes in it. Where as, the concept of thinking like your character, speaking like your character and acting like your character, to me at least, seems like one that will ensure role-playing. |
