I have something that may interest a few people to join in on so I figured why the hell not? Since it seems these day's people thrive off the kill rather than the ethics to commit too growth. So is it true? Do people really prefer Chaos over peace and Growth? BuddahBear pauses and takes a hit off his freshly rolled Joint and rubs his tummy It's a question I found myself asking after my Father's demise. So being intrigued I went about the streets and caught a few Mafioso willing to talk too a 4 foot Stoned Bear to see exactly what they thought on the subject. The question I asked was this: Excuse me, if you have a moment, what are your thoughts on the subject of Chaos and Peace. On a day to day basis, which do you prefer? yes, it was asked just like that. Really it was. BuddahBear chuckles noticing the effects beginning to kick in a bit Here are some of the responses I gathered and I'll read them aloud: "Well let me see, I'm very interested in Chaos to be honest. I love to kill me a few here and there. Especially in war time scenarios" "CHAOS FOR THE WIN!" Wow a role model for us all. For fucks sake, someone get me a shotgun. "Hmmm, tough question...." I'll just leave the rest out. Anyone who feels that the question asked is in any form difficult, then they should be nailed to a tree and put through a wood chipper. "Choas of course, it's what makes what we do in the Mafia, the Mafia." Now I know everyone is entitled to an opinion, but how the hell does chaos make the Mafia, the Mafia? Will someone please tell this poor soul what the hell we are really about? Hmmmm, try providing protection for those who can't rely on the court of law, those who the police spit in the face of when they are in need of assistance. Try extortion, Business operations, Gambling, Bootlegging, controlling cities and just being a hard ass son of a bitch who knows how control themselves in confrontation. Someone who is organized, and conducts their business in the background without making a scene. That is what makes the Mafia, not Chaotic order. "I would have to go with Peace. It allows us all to conduct ourselves in a professional manner. Families grow strong in time of Peace, and Chaos does not only disrupt the community, but shouldn't be dealt with in any Fashion within this thing of ours. When something needs to be done, and people need to die, it's done with precision and organization. You have Chaos, then you have trigger happy fucks who don't know what they are doing popping their gun's and disrupting the balance." Someone please hand this individual a cookie, I think I'm in love. So there you have it, my results from my little investigation. What does it tell me? Well it tells me there needs to be something taught to the Majority of the population. Granted, in no way am I stating that everyone feels the same. Although, with the answers I have gotten from a few, it made me stop and think to myself, which when High I tend to do a lot of, do most Mafioso's around these parts really know what this thing of ours is all about? Or are they all hyped up on the moonshine they have been getting from the dens, thinking that all were about is killing, and Chaos. BuddahBear then takes a deep breath, followed by another hit from his herbal medication. What's your opinion on the matter? Do you agree with me? Or am I too stoned to realize that the Mafia really is based upon causing Chaos for the masses to get their Rocks off? |

Chaos, peace. They're both the same. The both end in bloodshed. To be quite frank, this place needs chaos every now and then. Unfortunately sometimes when the chaos is created we find that the person who creates it is a dribbling fool and they just carry on until everyone is dead, which in turn drives bloodlines away from our world (much like my bloodline). Chaos is good, chaos is needed. But in one of the most contradictive statements of all time, it has to be "organised chaos". People have to know when to stop. I'm no fan of peace, nor were my forefathers but there are limits to the lengths that they and I would go to just to create our own amusement. |

There is never a need for chaos!! There is a need for organised shootings, and take downs, but when we have chaos, that's when we have lost all control and there is no organisation. We have had seen it happen in the past for an array of reasons, families have been taken down and it's not lasted longer than a few hours, everyone enjoys these times, we all have our fun and the rumors spread of what happened, why it happened, i'm sure the people who start these have their fun as well, but when the dust settles we need time to rebuild. This is the peace time. This is the time all the armies re-build, all the fallen members of each family come back stronger and wiser (not everyone of course, some people will always be asses). These are the times when the streets and bars should flourish with activity. In the words of many a men before me... "Rinse and Repeat" |

Chaos should never be more important than peace especially in our line of business. Peace is a time of profitability and that is what we all seek isn't it? Sure at times conflict is absolutely necessary and can be quite enjoyable but the whole world being thrown into a state of chaos is just bad for business. |

First off, I'm disappointed that chaos is being equated to war and bloodshed. Webster's dictionary defines chaos as: a state of utter confusion. This being clearly defined, I'd like to point out that usually, it is the organized and prepared that succeed when it comes to war. Once the war is over the only confusion to be found is when it comes to things that have passed (i.e. "what happened", "why did this happen"). In fact, once a war is finished, things could not be any clearer. There is now no doubt as to who the victor is or the fact that they have now won the right to do as they see fit. Any confusion one might have is because of their unwillingness to accept the new situation. However, to infer that this is "chaos", wouldn't be accurate. This being said, chaos only exists in our world when those in power allow it to exist. Rarely have I seen a leader allow chaos to run rampant even in time of war. Simply put, it's not in their interest to allow a state of confusion to dictate the way of our world and thusly, they simply don't allow for it. |
