Those of you saying to arm everyone are idiots. It's the typical fix that most gun nuts suggest - more guns! Because when you are thinking of protecting children, that's what you want - crossfire! These school shooters are not going to be deterred by the possibility of being shot. Every situation I know of has been a suicide mission. They EXPECT to be shot. There is only so much you can do in these situations. Bad things are going to happen in the world. You can't prevent them all. The most you can do is try to minimize losses through reasonable measures. |
