Pretty simple...
When ideas get enough votes to be put through to the Player Commission, they are deleted from the suggestions forum as it's making it very hard to keep up with all the suggestions with so many "sticky" threads at the top. |

The idea behind it was so that people could still add to the discussion if they wanted to after it went to the PC Forum. |

If the suggestions make it through to the game, they're not suggestions anymore...they're IN. What's the point in spamming up the Suggestions forum with 'em? |

If they are are at the top, they aren't in the game yet. |

{I believe that this has more to do with how many we as the PC are sponsoring before we are actually completing other suggestions. Is there anyway we can limit how many can be sponsored vs how many are still in discussion/voting?} |

{We could scale it back a touch if necessary, but the debate is hardly thriving in the Player Commission forum and that greatly limits the speed at which each suggestion can be brought to fruition.} |

{The suggestions aren't going anywhere. They will still be there when we get through the ones we get pushed through. Hell there are suggestions from years ago that we haven't even delved into, that maybe deserve more priority than current suggestions we are sponsoring just because they are right in front of us. Maybe we could have a mixture of past and present at a time that we sponsor and get cleared up, hopefully as quickly as possible so that new ones may be given the same attention.} |

{I've thought about this as well. I'm not sure whether to go back historically or deal with suggestions as and when they arise. I think it might be worth saying to users that have made/seen a valid suggestion to bump it back to the top. |

{I'm not saying weeks and months between sponsoring, as I don't think we should be taking weeks and months to finish processing suggestions that have been sponsored. And as soon as one is out the door another can certainly take it's place. I'm really just trying to get us to keep the process going, instead of sponsoring 8 suggestions, not doing diddly with them when they get sponsored, but continuing to sponsor other suggestions.} |

Player Commission members are encouraged to use redacted text (rather than mob mail, ect) to show that an idea is active. |

Those are enkindle's words by the way, not mine, from his "Player Commission - How it works" Thread. |

{The solution to the clutter is not to stop sponsoring. Deal with ideas as they come in. I have a feeling it will slow down somewhat anyway.} |

{Oh yeah. My reasoning on dealing with the idea as it comes in, is that the poster should be able to be in on the discussion. If you wait, they likely won't be.} |

{To me that is basically saying, all other suggestions are not valid because the suggestor is dead. I don't really believe that theory either. I don't mind discussing suggestions as they come in, but other people that don't play anymore have made valid suggestions in the past that I think are just as important as current ones.} |

{That is not what I'm saying. I'm saying the poster should be able to discuss it with the PC when he posts it. Regardless of this, there's no reason to slow sponsoring. If the PC forum winds up with 20 unvoted ideas, that's OK. It won't come to that, but if it does, so what?} |

Sounds like a decent compromise to me, enkindle. I'd be happy with them just having "sticky" off. |

{So what? Because the people who originally suggested it will wonder why it was sponsored then not done shit with. I'd rather it sit in suggestions unsponsored than we sponsor it and leave it to just sit and do nothing, then it really looks like we're not doing our jobs, which they are already complaining about. The point of sponsoring them is to get them through the process. I'd rather not have 20 sitting in the queue waiting to be discussed and voted on. I'd rather have minimal, get them done and through so that more can be given the same time and attention.} |
