I don't like this idea simply because you have to spend credits to get CA's so this achievement won't be readily available to a lot of players.

But why not award the people that do buy CA's?

I like it, simple and adds to the achievements.

I have to admit, I am constantly thinking of things that can be put into achievements. This is by far one of the best idea's for more achievements I've seen in a long time. The make XX amount of $$ for each stage works perfect. With this stage like Ed said..

Reward little XP and around 10% of the cash required to fulfil that stage. I see no harm in this what so ever.

The buy a CA achievement, I also agree with enkindle, this achievement shouldn't reward anything but rather just there. Simply because why should we be rewarded anymore then we are for buying a CA.

I have one problem though,

PC-Flash-Fire why would this make a difference? There are some achievements on the page that aren't really readily avaliable by many. I mean yeah.. you can do them if you really try such as the 'Godfather Galvinizer'. Achievements to do with CA's would also fall into this very same category because CA's ARE avaliable to everyone, whether they choose to invest some of their in-game (or RL) cash to buy credits to get a CA is their choice.

So.. as Ed said.

But why not award the people that do buy CA's?

We can easily see that CA's if you sell their drugs correctly will easily pay for themselves and leave you with a little extra for whatever you want. Therefore anyone NOT buying CA's in my eyes.. are quite frankly missing out on a golden opportunity. Therefore, I am all in favour of these achievements and it would most certianly be nice to see them implemented. Along with many many more if anyone can think of them. I like achievements.. it gives you a self sense of.. ACHIEVEMENT!

to erics point that people are missing out. alot of people have bought cas only to die within a few days. at that point theyve wasted ten very expensive credits with no hope of ever recouping that money.  so there are legit reasons to not purchase a ca.  i for one am agianst achievements for them. you dont deserve a reward for spending ten credits and keeping it alive for thirty days

EricLassard's reasoning looks solid to me. I'm still in favour of this.

But its the work behind having one Ragnarok..
Sure it's easy enough to spend the credits, but it's about timing, being in the right place at the right time, planning and being patient.. It's a little more than just "keeping it alive for thirty days"

Ok, it doesn't take much skill but why shouldn't people be rewarded for something that's a part of the game?
There's an achievement for almost everything else, why not this..?

It's barely difficult to vote 100 times is it.. Why do we get rewarded for that but not for spending 10 credits which most of us have had to earn the money for in the first place?

In that case, sure why not.

It would be cool if there was some sort of achievement for earning certain amounts with a CA but as for the actual purchasing of the CA, I don't think there should be a reward..

This seems like a nice addition to the achievements - I can't really think of an objective reason to oppose this. Why not?

Ragnarok, there won't be any xp\cash\credit reward for these achievements. Just a visual "Look what I did" sort of thing.

Not even a bit of XP for the.. Make so much $$$ with your CA? Removing credits for earning those achievements I can understand.. but not even a tinchy winchy bit of XP & Cash? Like...$10,00 and 7xp?

XP would be nice at least..
Money would be a bonus but I wouldn't expect it because of what the CA would be making which is why I suggested like 10% of what the achievement was for,

E.g, 100k gets you 10k..

Or even not money.. Just a little xp like Eric said..
There are a lot of thinks that obviously we have no control over and can only suggest and some things will be liked and some not..

I think reward or no reward, there should be some sort of achievements involving CA's..
