| You have lost your gun personnal | Started by: Dark_Knight on Sep 06, '12 06:22 |

I think that you need to create a personnal saying when you've lost your gun as people without timers are unable to tell if they still have one or not after they have wackbacked and then when they decide to go for the next IA soon realise they don't have one. |

So buy the timers? No offence fella, but there is a reason they are there. Its incentives to have those little extra things available to make your life that tiny bit simpler around here. They cost 5 credits for 30 days, I find it completely inconceivable that someone can't put in a little work to achieve those 5 credits. |

Correct me if im wrong here, but isn't it possible to find out if you have a gun anyway?
IE... you make sure a friend is in a DIFFERENT city, then you paste their name into the wack box and click wack. If you don't have a gun, it would tell you, right? |

I dont see a downside to some sort of personal when you lose your gun. Paid timers or not, thats information any user should be made aware of. |

Then yeah, if after a wackback, you lost your gun, and happened to spend a credit on an MIA, I can see how that would suck. I see no reason there would not be a personal heads up in that instance. |

I don't think this is a terrible idea... It doesn't hurt anything at all, it's not "making users less lazy" which is a main reason a lot of ideas are shut down, and it doesn't seem like it'd take terribly long to code. Thumbs up from this fella |

Either count yourself or buy the timers. Far too much hand-holding already.0 |

You get a personal saying you WB'd on someone, if you read the WB message fully you would know you no longer have a gun. You will then get a personal once you get your gun back. So no need at all for this change. |

I still think you shpuld get a personnal saying that you have lost your gun, some of the messages you get can be confusing when you wackback |

There is no harm in doing this and it won't affect game play |

Its not always about harm, though. There is a lot of work put into the aspects of the game we already have, the fact there are differing role play scenarios for Wack Back is a very good aspect, one of these scenarions details that you've lost your gun, if the user doesn't actually read the message that they get then imo thats their own fault. |

I'm going to have to switch gears on this as my last post was made out of ignorance, having never lost a gun through wackback; but from what I can see, from just reading people's posts, the wackback message itself will inform you of the loss of your weapon. Adding on top of that the fact there is absolutely no reason for anyone not to be able to get the timer toolbar, since you can buy credits with in-game cash.
If either/both of these things inform you that you have lost your gun from wackback, I see no reason for the personal.
I have to highly suggest getting the timer-toolbar though. Even with todays high credit price it would essentially cost next to nothing compared with the perks you get. |

Just one question when you lose your gun by WB can you get it back? |

Yes, you can get it back via petty crimes. You can also purchase one if your family has an armory, or your leader can give you one if there are any spare free ones. |
