Which discipline is the best to get in to? |

I would have to say Philosophy, since Psychology found its roots in philosophy in the first place in the late 1800's. Therefore you could easily say that Philosophy was the Mother of Phychology. |

That would depend completely on the type of career you wanted to get into then. I understand what you're asking now. Philosophy has a very very wide spectrum of topics that can fall under it. As far as I know, plenty of Sciences have spawned from philosophy, where they originated, and before there was proof to become a true science.
Psychology, on the other hand, even though it spawned from philosophy, concentrates more on the study of human behavior, which could easily be used in many more careers today, including doctors and profilers. |

Dale Carnegie Napoleon Hill Warren Buffett But for these men, they did not get rich because they were philosophers, but more because of the philosophy they adopted and taught. I am certain that most good philosophers would measure their wealth in more ways than just monetary values though. |

There are a lot of jobs that just require you to have a degree in anything, and you can get those with either. Pretty much the only way to have a job in the field in philosophy is to become a professor though. Or. Y'know. Work at a coffee shop. (Some of your coworkers will have been art history majors though.) |

Either way, you'll need at the very least your Master's degree, and preferably your PhD. |
