Las Vegas. The lights, the grandeur: Gone. Started by: WhitePowder on Sep 11, '12 19:39

Plane lands at McCarren, finally - Welcome to Vegas.

The feelings rushing through my mind are mixed - I'm not sure if I will be met with kindness or rudeness; Cute girls, or Shlops. I decide to hope into a cab and tell him to take me to the place I've only ever heard about. The Strip.

I'm confused as we drive around.. Where are the people? I thought Vegas was full of riches, parties and beautiful women... well, we are in a rather shabby part of town.

We near the strip, I'm seeing the buildings that house landmark Casino's.

BUT WAIT.

They're all borded up, bums are on the streets - the grandeur of Vegas, the stories of the nightlife.. All a part of the past.

A DREAM ALREADY ENDED.

I'm disappointed. Let down. Stuck here for 2 hours.

It's sad to see the death of a giant.

Even worse to visit it's corpse.

Just as I'm thinking everything's gone, my ambition goes to work.

I have an idea.. Let's bring it back to life.

Idealism Welcome.

iif only the great scousefather had not lost las vegas. gone are the days of sin in the city. we all long for action on the strip. the casinos, the whores, the drinks, and the missing hubcaps on every car. while we experience this rebuilding era, i dont forsee life picking up in sin city. i hope that im wrong and life returns there as soon as possible
