Gambling Troubles Started by: Kearney on Sep 14, '08 18:18
Kearney walks down the street and sees a big bright sign, so he walks up to it and enteres the door that is just below the sign. As he takes a look around it seems like a nice friendly place. Someone greets him at the door, a nice clean place with a water fall in the center and a bar to his right.

As Kearney gets a drink he sees a table at the end of the room that catches his eye. He saunters over to it and quickly realizes it's a blackjack table. There are piles of money sitting in an opened suitcase near the dealer. Not even thinking twice Kearney takes a seat.

He pulled a few large bills out of his pocket, chump change and placed it on the table.

Bet 100k!

Kearney says with excitement.

Give me the money!

He looks straight into the dealers eyes and laughs in his face as he makes a profit of 700k. Kearney continues to bet his money but eventually it seems his luck dwindles away. After loosing 900k he swears under his breath.

Deciding to take a break Kearney walks over to the bar and orders a whiskey. He drinks it fast, being down on his luck this makes him feel better. He orders another and another, the people around him are fun to hang out with. Kearney continues to drink until he can't see straight anymore and passes out.

Kearney wakes up on hard, cold tile. He pulls his head up and realizes where he is.

How the hell did I end up in my kitchen, specially on the floor.

He gets up and notices a card fell out of his back pocket. He picks it up and notices the card has the name of the small casino he visited last night. Kearney touches his head, he has a headache and can't remember anything, but on the back of the card he realizes he kept track of his winnings. He realized he screwed himself over and had no idea how to pay the debts to the local don.

To say the least he was in trouble. As he sat there with a smoke in his hand he blurted out to know one in general.

I'll just rob that dirty Casino and then burn 'em to the ground.

Kearney grabs his Enfield revolver, a couple of matches and a bottle of gas. He then leaves his house for the biggest payday of his life.

I have a friend who has a gambling problem. Im not going to say his name to hide him from shame. But we've all tried to get him help and nothing seems to work. Im sad for this individual, he even owes me a large sum of cash due to his gambling debts, along with many others. If we dont help these gentlemen, who will? Please everybody mobmail StripheCorelli and tell him he needs help.
