I am new to this life but I am aware of "sit-downs" in "this thing of ours", but there is nothing in "the handbook" that regards it. It would create better understanding and organization, and also would do away with unecessary and sometimes sloppy killing. For those unaware of what a "sit-down" is.... "A meeting between two made members (usually with one person assigned to each to represent them) to settle a dispute by means of rubbing them out or giving them a warning" I would like to know what people think |

She listens and nods.. These "sit downs" as you term them usually occur behind closed doors or back alleys. They are not something for public eyes or ears. Something like this should be common sense. We wouldn't want the pigs to overhear our plans now would we? |

| I am in total agreement with you, they would happen within a family or maybe in a dispute within two families. I would think that there would be someone in charge of representing a person within the family. So in the likelihood of a beef going on between two family members they could "referee" the dispute, or represent the family at the sit-down if it involved another family. | |

She coughs slightly to clear her throat. As you stated, you are new to this thing of ours.. How do you know such discussions do not happen already? As I said, these things are done behind closed doors. If you are basing your questions upon the obituaries please keep in mind that the majority of those people were comatose in our alleys, giving nothing to a family. |

| Winter, I personally believe that in comparison to a year or so back, sit-downs may have been a more regular thing and families would sometimes talk it out rather than start firing straight away, alas the problem with these sit downs is that if one would arise the odds are each family head would have there hitters on standby from the off just incase things could not be resolved through words. This then gives time for each family to make the necessary preperations, whereas these days a takedown is much more efficient and the chances of your own casualties are less if you are the leader doing the takedown. | |
