| Removal of % complete on achievements | Started by: EFfExX on Sep 17, '12 15:40 |

Precurser: I have just returned to MR after an extended period of absence.
Since I was last here it I have seen that there is available as I understand it a credit package woth 10.0 credits to give greater info on your achievements. As a laymen having not purchased this pack I am unable to state or assume details of its uses but I'd guess that it would be specifically how many/ how many needed for each or some of the achievements.
IF this is the case then my suggestion would be to remove the % complete stats on each achievement for users without the pack and just leave the bar to indicate how close you are to achiving that particular goal.
Reasons:
It is relatively simple to calculate either a) the exact needed value, or b) a rough estimate to about the nearest 2-5 needed value to complete the goal.
Pros:
-It values the package and credits (albeit slightly) more valuable.
Cons:
-New users can't see (anything with 0/0 on all achievements) and possibly won't understand what the bar means or where the end of the bar is.
Alot of this is based on assumptions and possibly ignorance and I'd be interested to hear your comments. |

All it does is tell you which city is your weakest for the per-city achievements. |

The only thing that you can buy for 10 credits in the game is a Corrupt Agent and that has nothing to do with stats. Everyone can see their percentage, that also has nothing to do with credits. Why would you want the percent removed? You'd rather just guess how close you are, rather than know exactly how much more you have to go? The only thing achievement related that you must pay a credit for is to reveal what city you are lacking the most in. And everyone has to pay that one credit to see it. Some think it is worth it, some do not. You can just as easily visit every city and work on the achievements until you've reached it. I do not really see a pro to getting rid of the percentage. |

Yes I take back the suggestion, I misunderstood the buying credits for achievement info. |
