maybe in jail seen as you are in jail you should have 1 phone call like so that means 1 mail when sentenced

I actually like this idea. Its somewhat logical, one mail to use as your phone-call to possibly contact someone to bust you out. People are often seen on IRC shouting "BMO"; well, this would enable users that dont lurk around on chat to have the chance to contact someone that they think can bust them out.

Not sure whether its actually possible, though. Can Enkindle or Squishy confirm if this idea is plausible?

Personally, I don't like the idea of being able to send a mail while in jail...That being said, I do think that the crew chat should be enabled. Let's get real here, we're in the mafia supposedly. Logically so, our family is GOING to know if we're in fucking jail -_- So...yeah.

(Granted there are other ways, ie; profiles, IRC, etc)...still. Not everybody uses IRC, and honestly who's going to be clicking their family members so often that they're likely to see when they're in jail anyway?

There used to be a feature like this on the old game.

I believe it could work through the crew chat. Something like:

**Jail Phone Call from PC-Grin in Philly: Get me out of here!!!**

I really like this idea. As to how to implement it, be it one mail or one chat shout out, I'm not really sure, but I definitely support the idea of this. Realistically you get one phone call, why not the same opportunity here.

I like this idea as you know Gangsters are pretty quick to call there boss or Hired Lawyers to get them outta the Slammer one message on crew chat i think would be the way to go.

This is a neat idea. While you have a good chance of being busted out before you can even lurk in the jail forum in most cases. this would be a nice feature for the rare times when you're actually stuck in jail.

I will sponsor this more to save on my own phone bill, when I have to log onto IRC from my mobile to get someone to break me out!!!

Wow I'm surprised this has passed unanimously (bar 2 undecided), the same thing has been suggested a number of times in the past and been shot down... Still I am in favour!

The two undecided were inactive at present, so id stick with it being unanimous.

Its a good concept, though many players are often in IRC whilst online, not everyone is. Now those that aren't can try and get someone to bust them out.
