I agree with El_Nino. When before have we voted for something that the suggestion wasn't for? Nobody sponsored the suggesstion to keep wackback and add in tapering, it has to go through the proper process to get to a vote, not just be passed through because you want it to happen. |

Ok, that sounds fair to me. |

I think the fundementals behind people wanting to keep wackback death is a romantic attachment to game changing events, they are failing to take into account that the reason it was put into place was not to change the game at random times but to try and slow down guns specifically at the top end. |

The fundamentals behind my desire for wackback death to remain have been well explained at this point, none of which stem from a romanticised view of it, it's purposes or it's effects and I think the counter arguments have been insufficient in alleviating the concerns I have. |

I really don't think there is a need for everyone to know where they stand on if they are within the top 10 or 1.5% which ever is decided. Let them assume they are above or bellow that level & they make their shooting decisions based upon their assumptions. |

The voting for this suggestion has failed. PC-El_Nino has voted YES. [2] (I like the idea of tapering. WB death hasn\'t slowed gun progression.) PC-Cassiopeia has voted YES. [1] (WB is not accomplishing what is was intended to do. With tapering it will allow for the slowing of gun building. Though I would prefer to see the first tier implemented, rather than the second.) PC-Flash-Fire has voted YES. [1] (Seeing as WB has been removed anyway, I\'m changing my vote.) PC-Patti has voted YES. [1] (I am going to say yes. Unless WB was implemented for bodyguards too, keeping it is not going to stop big guns from getting bigger. They will just work twice as hard. Tapering will close the the gap and help slow the big guns from outrunning the average gun.) PC-Pratster has voted YES. [1] (WB Death isn\'t doing what it\'s meant to. Tapering will.) PC-Squishy has voted YES. [1] (yesyesyesyes) PC-Warrior has voted YES. [1] (I like the idea of tapering, though would rather keep WB. Either way I feel the tapering is worthwhile even in its current form of a replacement.) PC-Grin has voted NO. [4] (Tapering is a good idea. Removing WB death is not.) PC-ralph has voted NO. [3] (Tapering by itself would result in those being tapered to work overtime in keeping their guns on top - combine both, neither, or figure out an alternative.) PC-Tech has voted NO. [1] (Why change the only thing making people scared of training guns??) PC-Ter has voted NO. [1] (NO Why remove Wackback completely? I like the tapering idea but wackback is an important part of the game. Include both or leave wackback unchang) Voting Totals, Yes: 8 (7), No: 9 (4), Undecided: 2 (2). The PC may continue discussion of the suggestion and reopen voting or close the thread. |
