I am a great big fan of Pickpocketing people. I do it as often as I can and when I do it, I make an effort to Pickpocket actual players rather than CA's and if they are actual players, I try to respect their wishes when it comes to PP'ing. If there is no tag of 'PP friendly', I just assume they are fair game. This, however, does not seem to be the opinion of said untagged folks. I have been mugged more times than I can count by people who have no tag on their person and yet consider themselves unfriendly to pickpockets. When asked as to why they do not have any tags, the answers range from 'I am on my phone' to 'I am too busy to type in my profile'

So, with that much context let me move on to my suggestion. I would like for a new section to be added to the profile. A PP'ing friendliness section. A bit like the 'Loyalty' option. Only this one would show if you are friendly to pickpockets or not. It is set to 'friendly' automatically and when if the player does not wish to be pick pocketed, he/she should change it to 'unfriendly'.

Pro:

Just one, saves a lot of trouble and irritation for both the pick pocket and the pick pocket victim. Just modify one small drop box and the fuckers who are yearning for your 5k will know what is coming to them if they touch you. If you want to specify any special conditions like' I will mug hypocrites' you can still type it out in your quote.

Cons(that I can think of):
1. Will mean mugging gets used a lot less.

2. It isn't realistic for a mobster to be walking around with a sign saying 'I don't like PP'ers'

There is no reason people should have to put "Not PP friendly" in their profile. The fact pickpocketing has gotten to the degree that people think everyone should display their feelings on their profile annoys me.

Pickpocketing is only a small part of the game and those that roll play a real mafia character wouldn't submit to people stealing their money (unless they are below made man & a made man is fleecing them).

I'm a firm believer in having no fixed actions and letting players determine for themselves how to react or handle certain situations.

If people want to be hypocritical over PPing, I'm all for it. Equally, if they want to welcome people with open arms, mug them or shoot them, those are all valid choices too.

The less that is set in stone, the better. So, I would not be in favour of this.
