I'd rather see this implemented as sort of a luxury feature to emphasize that it's a Godfather-sized crime. While there'd be higher pay, I'd be neat if there were more stringent requirements for it - such as it having to be in your home city, and perhaps even a longer length of time than a day. That's just an idea to toss around, though.

Having it only in your home city sounds like a good idea (although it means you can't invite someone from another city to the crime) & another possibility your only allowed to invite made men+.

I believe this is an excellent idea. Im wondering how often it would get used in the home city though.

I'm sure a lot of the GF's spend more time in their own city than another, especially before logging out.

I think it would get plenty of use if was made to be worthwhile.

I also think that both additions, being Made Man+ and only in home city are also good conditions.

Would it be possible to make the GF have the ability to invite anyone in the city, since we're all in agreement that it should be confined to the home city? I think that's a great idea, I just think being a GF crime, they should have more options to choose from, especially in their home city.

I know it is unlikely that a Godfather would be involved directly in a job, but he definitely wouldn't do so with those below Made Man. I can understand them not having to be in his direct family as this is only going to be a handful of people, but I think they should definitely at least be within one of the families within that city.

I don't think that would be the right way to go. I would much rather see the Godfather have to organise people within his own city for a profitable venture than just anyone who active at the time. A little more co-ordination certainly, but a worthwhile one.

I actually think Cassi's suggestion has merit there. The Godfather is a renowned person, he would in theory be able to utilise whatever connections he wanted in his own city. I'm not concerned either about making it Made Man+, whilst I personally would love to see more emphasis towards the rank itself, I think that the user should be able to invite whomever they care to.

In Short: I support making it in the City of the Godfather only, with him having ability to choose from any mafioso available at that time in his/her City.

I think Cassi has a valid point, a Godfather could choose to bring in an outside hire to get a job done if for no other reason than an unknown face.

I still think it should be limited to made man+ because a Godfather wouldn't involve anyone bellow that in a crime he is master minding (key words there, the GF wouldn't actually take part but still takes the largest percentage of the loot) therefore limiting his exposure to lower ranks who could testify to save their own skins.

The original suggestion was for a crime for with a significantly increased payout. So this is a big job we're talking about, one of the biggest we are able to pull in MR terms. Given that scenario, I just don't think the Godfather would involve other families unless it was an absolute necessity. Why would they share the loot with anyone else in what is to be their biggest score?

I know the original suggestion was only for 4 home city members, but I think that should be extended. I could see them involving someone really high up in another organisation who helped to broker the deal like a city leader or Don, but not a soldier.

I suppose you could have it open and if anyone feels strongly enough about it they could round up their own members to keep the money in the family.

{Slightly off topic, but I'd love to see OCs really extended with genuine drawbacks and random outcomes. If we take the becoming a Godfather scenario as an example, that has multiple screens and involves a nice story too. I think there is a lot of scope to flesh out the MR OCs, with them taking into account the abilities of the people you include. If for example you have someone who speaks a lot, they might have a lot of connections who could get you out of a jam, someone stealthy might be able to duck out of sight if the job goes bad and dodge getting pinched or someone on info might have the knowledge on a bigger score increasing your payout. Anything to really make them feel a little big more 'Mafia', honestly.}

Since it's the Godfather, why wouldn't he/she use other cities in case the plan fails to be the fall guy or something like that? I just think, with it being bigger and better than all other OC's... If we're confining it to it's home city and confining it to home members only, what makes it any bigger or better aside from a bigger payout?

{I do like the idea of expounding even more on all the OC's and incorporating people's skills. I wouldn't mind seeing something like your example implemented at all.}

If the Godfather cares enough to want only their own people in the crime, I guess they can go the extra yard and organise it not using members outside of their family.
