Well, it's taken me nearly a week, but I have finally compiled the results of The Not Really Annual Mafia History Quiz, #1. Many entries were good. Many were bad. Many were just plain disturbing. For your viewing pleasure, I have included a brief summary of the answers I got for each question. You are all very weird. 1. In the recent war between Philadelphia and Chicago, who was the first to fall? The correct answer here was Kangaroo . Another popular answer was McKidds - however, he died without a family tag. Some peculiar answers included "TM_Scarface" and "Fall over? ohh Die, That would be Kangaroo surprised he didn't Wackback actually." Poor Kangaroo! 2. What was the original function of the coffee shop known as #unicorns? I would have accepted a number of answers here, including 'stealing forts'. The most popular answers (and what I gave points for) were 'Wars' or 'Hitsquad room'. Incorrect answers included.. "Crewleader channel" "To group together certian mafioso's.... more specificly the ones who like beastiealitie" "Spreading the love (otherwise known are homosexuality)! (What else was I going to say?)" "#unicorns was the first (and only) gay bar on irc. It was started by Opti I believe." ... 3. Name the two family lines who have ever attained the status of Godfather? The answer was "Anita and Scotland" - peculiar answers included Merovingian, Evsie, and a very convinced applicant who swore blind it had been "Olive McTavish"... 4. Whose crew was known as 'The Iguana Corporation'? Ding ding answer - Alfieri. Boo boo answers - Gaara, RonMexico, and a very frustrated sounding "It was Samuel, Vienna was RHM, and Gammy was the only part of the HS, but I can't remember the name..", "This guy was a noob I forget his name." 5. What happened on Good Friday of this year? As one entrant poetically put it, "Limoncello got shot in the gace." This was, of course, the attack on POC by Limoncello, known thereafter as the Good Friday Massacre. "I prob got laid with a fat chick again" - Lolz. Half points. 6. Sluts_Rule3 was once a leader. How did this name come about? A variety of amusing answers here. "Based on a number of rules the person had that made a girl a slut" "Lost a poker game with three other sluts. The third slut managed to become a CL." "He hit his forehead against the keyboard and that is what came up." "Well appearntly Sluts_Rule1 and Sluts_Rule2 weren't the biggest pimps." "ESPN.com's minnesota twins forums." ????????? "Umm... I'll take a wild guess. She (I'm guessing she) was a total whore and with that amazing ability was able to get authed by someone with power and no brain/a bad need for easy sex." "After the deaths of Sluts_Rule1 and Sluts_Rule2 the next in line was naturally Sluts_Rule3" "It was registered and they busted ass to get authed." "Sluts_Rule3, was supposed to be Sluts_Ruler, it was going to help measure the length of one's sluttiness, but due to a typo he was forever known as Sluts_Rule3 "Because they do?" "He prob spent a night talking to me." The right answer was that Sluts lost a TNet battle in which the stake was the right to name the loser's next bloodline member... 7. Name five family lines who are known to be members of the United Nations. - There were many possible options to choose from here - however, they did NOT include Optimus. As far as I know. 8. Who killed Don Witchyx? "One of them CP cunts" was certainly correct - it was PrinceofCheese. 9. Who is the leader of CP and what does it stand for? The correct answer was Nobody and It's a Secret. I found it surprising how many people were insulting in their responses given that this is my quiz. You silly beans. "There is no leader and someone said it stood for Cock Pullers but I doubt that myself" "Everyone knows Mr-DW is the CP leader, despite protestions from FakeManCP and Gregz0rCP. Strangest answer - "Revan & Caucasion players" 10. Proteus was an old Las Vegas Crew Leader. What was the name of the rogue who killed him and tried to take over his city? The correct answer was Sleep. "Proteus was known for his mass of protons, but he became cocky; so the leader of the more abundant neutrons, Neutreus, killed him; but neutreus was neither glad or sad over this achievement. Or was it somebody named Sleep...I'm really not sure." - This person has too much time on their hands. 11. The Black Phoenix Connection was run by what Mob Boss? Correct - Seventh Not correct - Shuki, My mother, Robin Williams. 12. Two Mob Bosses used the crew name "The Red Fez Connection". Who were they? Bonus points here to whoever pointed out "It was actually 3. CathyParks, who at the time authed Misterio as an extension of the family, there so also Red Fez. ( no captains at the time) and also A1capon3." I also accepted just Cathy_Parks and a1capon3. 13. What two Mob Bosses spearheaded a competition for auth called "Mafia Survivor"? Nobody got this right. It must have been really memorable! Half points went to the entrant who said "DiscoDuck and SingWhenYoureWinning". The answer was DiscoDuck and Rhett. 14. Kontessa was a leader in what city before her death? Chicago. 15. What city pays the most for petties and felonies? Philly. 16. Who was our last major rogue and who did he/she shoot? A contentious one here. To avoid arguments I accepted both OhCrap and Zulo - while Zulo was a rogue crewleader, OhCrap was also technically rogue as he was acting on his own. Anyone who said either got points. "Can't really remember any of them doing shit since Premier although he doesn't count for a)not really "doing" anything b)being educationally sub-normal." - also got points. 17. Heshyn, Dargotten and Chaos are popular names used by which family line? An unpopular question. Probably because the subject is so unpopular himself. Answer: CamazotzCP "who???" - In your chops, Camazotz. Again, the answer was not "Shuki" 18. Around the time of Anita, Scotland, Mercedes and Dick_Gozinya, for which leader did Triumphe act as RHM? So this question is busted:D" The answer I was looking for was Thunderbutton, however there have been too many bloody arguments over technicalities in this question so everyone gets points, yay etc. 35. What was the name of the Don who bequeathed his crew to the now famous Anita? Blackfog. Many people knew the lineage, but could not remember the particularly family member involved in this. 36. It is always rewarding to see Mafia History laid out like this. You know, for the plebs. I'm not surprised the work of the Brain Trust was overlooked by this quiz; the true measure of our success was our work behind the scenes after all. A generally interesting outlook, the Brain Trust deem it a satisfactory reflection of what may have appeared to have occurred from the perspective of a pawn, who was barely even aware of the scope of the board he was being moved about on, let alone the pieces in play. The irony of this is that at the time there were a few guys running around with "Horsemen of the Apocalypse" in their quotes, with my profile linked to the word "Apocalypse". Not good times. |
