“Mr.Chase, are you home?”

A knock came to his residence door as he woke up on the couch in alarm, pulled his gun wildly from his waist, waving blindly in the air. Once he realized it was only the door, he made his way off the couch, half awake. He opened the door and stood there in a wife beater and the pants he wore out to the bar last night. Cory looked at the girl holding an envelope and could barely hold an eye open.

“Can I help you?”

She was shocked at first, but she eventually got out some words as her bottom lip quivered. Her hand was shaking as she held the envelope out to Cory. He took it and began to try and read it with his half awake eyes.

“It is just a request for you Mr.Chase. I was asked by your boss to run this by to you on my way home from school today. I am sorry if I disturbed you. I must be going, my mother expects me home at a certain time.”

Barely paying attention to her Cory waved his hand at her and closed the door behind him. He laid the note down on the coffee table and poured himself a cup of water in order to try and process what was happening. He slumped into the couch with the water and began to read off the note.

‘Chase, meet your family out for dinner this evening? I will see you at the regular place.’

Cory was never late for a meeting in his whole life, and today wasn’t any different. He walked into the dinner at the right time and there was Godmother Innocence, Mercury, and Bruiser already enjoying themselves some food. Cory took a place next to Bruiser and grabbed a piece of toast from his plate. He began to eat it as he waved the waitress over to get him something to drink. Innocence looked up from her food and spoke to Chase.

“Are you hungry Cory, we have time to wait on you to get something to eat if you like?”

He took the water from the waitress and drank as much as he could get down.

“I am fine, thank you. I had somewhat of a rough night, so I will be sitting sideline for the rest of the day I believe.”

Innocence moved her plate away from her and stood up from the table. He gave Cory a pat on the shoulder and whispered in his ear so that the bystanders couldn’t listen in on them.

“It is that time, go ahead with it tonight.. You do the honors.”

Cory looked off into space for a moment but nodded his head to show her that he understood. Everyone finished their meals and agreed that they would be meeting up later that night. He gave the three of them a hug and returned home to change into more appropriate clothing. He had told Rhaziel that they would all be going out to a big dinner that night. It wasn’t long before a car was pulled up out front of his home and a car horn rang from the distant walls. He tightened his tie and made sure he had all his essentials before making his way out the door. SpongeBob laid on the horn a few more times when he seen Cory come from the house and enter on the passenger side. He looked in the backseat to see  Eris and Rhaziel, looking very nice in their dresses for the evening. They pulled away from the house and began to drive through the outskirts of Los Angeles. SpongeBob pulled across the street from an old car manufacturing warehouse. On the outside it didn’t look like much, but on the inside it was everything a mobster could ever hope for. No one was surprised but Rhaziel when they showed up at the warehouse. They stepped out of the vehicle and started walking towards the building, smiling at Rhaziel’s confused face. Valium opened the door for them when they approached and followed them in the warehouse. They were in darkness for a brief moment before stepping into the spotlight of the building and engulfed by the crowd that had gathered there. Everyone was already drinking and enjoying themselves when they entered the room. It didn’t take long before a drink was shoved into Cory’s hand and and he made his way onto a loading dock platform. He held up a hand to catch everyone’s attention as he took a drink from his glass, then began to talk.

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen. It is an honor to  be here with you all today to announce our newest addition to organized crime here in Las Angeles. Her mother has always been a deep friend of mine and has helped my fathers find his way through this crazy world of ours. Without her, I would admit to being lost here. She has being nothing but loyal to me, the Godmother, and the city itself. That in itself, is what makes me more proud of her then I could ever imagine. She has always been there for me and had my back whenever I have needed her, and today she expands that loyalty to a whole different level. When it comes to deciding who deserves an opportunity like this, I have no one else that comes to mind like Rhaziel does. Today, I mourn in the fact that she will not be straight to my right, but I celebrate the fact that city itself is gaining so much from her leadership.”

He took another long drink from his glass and held it up, watching the people follow his action.

“Today, I give you the newest family in Los Angeles. I give you a great leader in the making and I give you one of my dearest friends. Here is to Don Rhaziel and her family, La esencia de un angel. I know those with you are always in good hands. La esencia den un angel! Now, if I can keep your attention for the Godmother of L.A., Innocence.”

The old warehouse on the outskirts of city was just one of many places where the organized crime families of Los Angeles frequently did business. A lot of deals were made, money exchanged, drugs sold and lives ended in the building. When Innocence started planning the expansion of her crime syndicate she knew the warehouse would be the perfect location for Rhaziel.

After Cory_Chase's speech Innocence looked around at the large gathering of mobsters in the warehouse. Thinking back to when she bought her small headquarters in Los Angeles during a war Innocence didn't expect to live through the night. She never thought someday she would be in a building with over one hundred people who worked for her. It was proof to the old saying, anything is possible.

In the middle of the crowd was Rhaziel, an adviser and good friend to Innocence since the beginning of her reign in Los Angeles. Once again Innocence thought back to the early days and remembered the first thing Rhaziel said when she joined Innocence during the war, "If you live through this I promise to work my ass off for you." The memory made Innocence smile. Those words weren't an empty promise. Through out her career in organized crime Rhaziel went above and beyond for Innocence, Cory_Chase and the city of Los Angeles.

"Rhaziel, there isn't much more I can say about your work ethic that I didn't say when I promoted you to Don. You have truly been a blessing to me and our city. I'm honored to work with you. Thank you for accepting the responsibility of leading a family in Los Angeles." Innocence raised her glass of champagne and said, "To the success of La esencia den un angel."

Rhaziel looks utterly speechless as her crewleader and bestfriend annouce that she is being given this old warehouse where they use to conduct and plan business. Looking at the familiar faces toasting their champagne and smiling at her , she feel warm inside and very proud. Listening intently to her Godfather Innocence she did recall her promise to her when she is fighting for their lives on that epic war, and now she will do more than that.

After the speech of Godfather Innocence, Rhaziel walks towards her held high on her beautiful white dress with an accent of violet on her collar . She plays with her new purple pendant angel that Mercury had given her as a present earlier that day. Now that she is infront of her Godfather, Rhaziel kneel before her and kiss the ring that Innocence wear as the Godfather of Los Angeles.

"I am proud to be able to help and be at your side my Godfather and mentor of my mentors . Even in the journals of my bloodline you have been well praise by the people I look highly to, and to be able to serve you is something of a priviledge to me. As I have promise you on that fateful day I will work my ass for you and your city. To do and die at your side , for you and your city. My loyalty, my life and my family are all yours. " She kissed the insignia of the Godfather once again , she then felt the tap of her close friend and right hand man of Innocence , Mercury. Rhaziel stood up with the help of Mercury , she then hugs her tightly and smiled happily.

" Today a new Angel had spread her wings and will help in flourishing the City of Angels ...... ladies and gentlemen I give you   La Esencia den un Angel"

Mercury was towards the front of the crowd watching the announcement. She had known about this and had been given an assignment. She travelled through every city looking for what was requested. She found what she was looking for in a dilapidated jewelry store in New Orleans. She arranged the purchase and got back to Los Angeles just in time. After Cory spoke, the Godmother said a few words and the celebration began, Mercury walked up to Rhaziel beaming. She was very happy for her.

Rhaziel, I know you are going to do a great job. You are the perfect person for this task. I look forward to watching you prosper. I believe I have found what was requested, with a little twist of course. I hope it is to your liking.

Mercury reached into a small bag she was carrying and brought out a velvet box. She opened it to reveal the La esencia den un angel Family Ring. The 18 ct gold ring was showcased with a 1.5 ct rich violet African Sapphire in an intricate mounting  adorned with 2 angels. The inside band was inscribed with the family name. She handed it to Rhaziel.

One angel represents the protection of Cory and the other represents Innocence, Mercury explained. I have one more thing for you. This is from me.  

Mercury reached in her bag, pulled out one more velvet box and opened it to reveal a gold pendant with an Angel sitting on a crescent moon and holding a star. In the center of the star was a rich violet African Sapphire.

The moon has been hung for you today and the stars are within your reach. I hope this keeps you safe.

Mercury took the pendant and the necklace it was adorned to out of the box. She stepped behind Rhaziel, placed it around her neck and fastened it. She spoke to her softly so the crowd could not hear...

In a louder tone she said

Congratulations my friend. I will never be far should you need me. You know where I reside. I will always be there.

Mercury stepped back into the crowd as there were others waiting to have a word with her. She was proud of Rhaziel. Very proud, indeed.

Zmei eagerly listens to the eloquent speeches of the city's leaders, smiling and nodding along. The moment he sees Rhaziel alone, Zmei pulls her away from the crowd. Zmei wraps Rhaziel in his arms for a hug, steps back and says,

Well done my dear! It feels like it was just yesterday, when you were just a little Jynx, and look at you now! A crew leader in LA! We both know you'll do great, but that goes without saying...especially with the amazing Right Hand you've got! In this thing of ours, only a chosen few are destined to fly and achieve great things, but you missy, are meant to soar.

Zmei notices that others are waiting for their opportunity to talk to Rhaziel

We have things to discuss, but they can wait. You've got an adoring public to attend to, let's not keep them waiting, I'll find you later.

With their conversation over, Zmei steps aside giving his new CL a mischievous wink.

Walks in hardly containing herself and twirling Fydora is just ecstatic. She is happy about her friend being promoted and rushes towards Rhaziel pushing bodyguards and other well wishers out of the way Fydora grabs Rhaziel in a hug and twirls with her. Fydora then puts Rhaziel down and begins to speak.

"Rhaziel girl you know I love you and am too happy for you and I know you and Zmei will be a great addition to Las Angeles. You are amazing and I am so happy to have you as a leader in our city."

With that being said Fydora twirls on out of the area into a cab and into the night.

About the time Bruiser was finishing his plate of spaghetti, he noticed his perfect opportunity to get past Rhaziel's adoring fans so he jumped up, pulled off the napkin he had tucked in the top of his shirt and made his way over.  Along the way, Bruiser grabs a glass of wine from a passing by waiter and swigs it back quickly. 

Rhaziel, our godmother couldn't have picked a better auth for our great city.   Our kin go back a long time and they've known yours to be hard working, loyal, and very trustworthy and you will make a great leader!

Bruiser grabs two glass' of wine from another passing by waiter and hands one to Rhaziel.  Here's to you Don Rhaziel, I look forward to a long and lucrative relationship.  SALUTE!

Valium heard the good news while he was having his self measured by his favorite tailor. Valium woke up this morning in a great mood and in a sudden spur of the moment, he decided to get a new suit.

"I told you Mariachi, I'm going to need this suit very soon. Try to get this done because I want to look my best when LA celebrates this momentous moment! I want to be right there, beside her, and wish her luck and prosperity."

He then turns to the messenger, Windang, and tells him...
"Run along, go to the baker and get 5 boxes of Ensaymada Espesyal, carry the baked goods and a message to Senyora Rhaziel. Tell the Senyora that her Matalik na Kaibigan will pay her a visit today and tell her Mabuhay La Esencia de un Angel!"

Warwick raced onto the Streets as soon as he heard the grand news. Rhaziel had gotten auth!!

Congratulations, my dear friend!! I know you will do an awesome job!!

HannahBanana quickly finds her crew mate to help her roll out the red carpet for her new CL and all of LA's finest mobsters.  Lest her dress gets dirtied up for this occasion...

Mother Dear, I cannot be more proud of you than I am today!  The GodMother has indeed chosen a great one in you!  

Hooray for Los Angeles!

As the waves crashed against the rocks Oldman took a drink as he watched the sunset. There was a party going on about 100 feet away but he had stepped away for a few for a smoke and to collect his thoughts.. A few minutes he stood there smoking and staring at the beautiful sunset before walking back towards the party to be social as he had to dip very good as his flight to the casino in New Orleans was leaving soon and he could not be late

He walked over to the large table where Rhaziel was sitting and smiled as he shook her hand and gave her a hug

Whispering in her ear "Congrats on the family.. it wasnt long ago I remember reading about the beach house in LA.. but that is a story for another day and a long time ago"

He shook a few hands and finished off some free drinks before hopping in his limo to the airport. Driving by the new HQ on their way to the airport he smiled knowing she was off to a good start

Taproot walks in and nods to some of the old faces he knows and takes a seat near the back. Sipping from his flask, he listens as Cory_Chase talks and nods his head agreeingly. As his Godmother Innoncence talks, Taproot nods again and raises his flask happily. Seeing the look on his old friends face he is happy beyond words. Taproot takes a min to squeeze in a few words to his old friend. As he approachs Rhaziel, she smiles and hugs him and whispers a few words to him. TAproot glances to Cory and he nods a yes and smiles. Turning back to Rhaziel, Taroot speaks quickly as there apprears to be alot that needs done.

Its a great honor my old friend to see you raise up and help LA. You've always been a hrad ass working women and Innoncence is lucky to have ya here to help the great city of LA out. I'm extremely happy for you and know I will always do my best. We'll talk more as I am sure some more people want to speak with ya. I'll make sure that the locals clear out of the hq area before you arrive. It'll be the least I can do boss.

Taproot turns, grabs a few of the bodygaurds near the door and heads out toward the warehouse to clear the bums out of what is to become their new HQ.
