I don't know if this will be a favoured idea or not but I like the sound of it and I thought it could help towards figuring out exactly what to do with the way the wackback is going to work in the future.
I know that you guys can change the way this works in your own way if you like the idea, I'm just going to put it out there the way it is in my head...(My gun knowledge for the 1920's - 30's is not very good so I'm going to use descriptions of the types of guns and I'm sure someone with better knowledge can fill in the blanks.)
You start off with a "Standard Hand Gun" (After doing your 75 petty crimes)
- You start of with this gun even if your gun is maxed or not and you must pay to keep it healthy.
Then you recieve a "Higher Issued Hand Gun"
You recieve this gun when you have reached 30 kill's above maxed, you must pay to keep it healthy.
Then you recieve a "Small Rifle"
You recieve this gun when you have reached 65 kills above maxed, you must pay to keep it healthy.
Then you recieve a "Large Rifle"
You recieve this gun when you have reached 130 kills above maxed, you must pay to keep it healthy.
Then you recieve a "Sniper Rifle"
You recieve this gun when you have reached 200 kills above maxed, you must pay to keep it healthy.
Then you recieve a "Gatling Gun"
You recieve this gun when you have reached 350 kills above maxed, you must pay to keep it healthy.
"You can train your bodyguards once every 5 days from the date of purchase. So if you buy one today 5 days from now he can be retrained back to 100% vitality. Your bodyguards lose 1 point of vitality/health a day which results in costing you $12,000 a day. At the end of 5 days it will cost you $60,000 to train one bodyguard back to 100%. Once your bodyguards reach 20% Vitality they will no longer lose anymore points of life. The more bodyguards you have the more costly it is to keep them trained." - Takin from the tutorial on how to train your bodyguards.
What if like above we also have to treat our guns in a similar way? When you reach the next gun up the price to keep your gun healthy increases a tenfold.
Now unlike the Bodyguards you have to take your gun into the shop to keep it in working order and I think that with your gun at 100% wackback should be totally avoided and as it decreases your chance of wackback kicks in and starts to increase the longer you leave your gun unchecked. I also think there should be a time limit for training so that 'Risk' factor still remains but if you are totally against the risks then you have to wait until your gun reaches 100% before you start to use it again.
The Pro's and Con's mixed into one..
I know that this may sound like it would make it confusing especially for newcomers although I think that when you recieve your gun before maxed there shouldn't be any training required (Game aspect being that your a newcomer and you wouldn't really know all that much about guns to begin with but once you hit 'maxed' you recieve a roleplay in your inbox about how you should be training your gun or the thing could turn out faulty...) and as you start to increase your amount of kills your going to know enough about wacking and the game to quickly pick up on what needs to be done.
More cash is needed to keep you alive while training your gun. I know it will annoy a lot of players that they now have to pay money towards keeping them safe when wacking but hey that's life, you need money to do the things you want to do...
The 'waiting' factor, people who definitely want to avoid wackback will not like the fact they will have to wait for awhile before they have the chance to start using their gun again. |
