Adding an Achievement equivalent to the number of posts made in the business District.

It could be something like this,

Business district (make 10 posts in the business district)

0% ----

Pros

Increase the activity in the business district
benefits the user with somekind of reward after the achievement is finished
benefits the user with experience

Cons

not thinking of any right now.

There would have to be some sort of quality check, so people aren't spamming for achievements. But I think the idea has some merit, why just have achievements for the click-monkeys and not the RPers?

I really see no need for achievements for posting in business district, the next thing would be achievements for sending mails.

This may sound wrong but I actually like the idea of achievements for mail along with this idea. Anything that boosts Interaction is a good thing. Aslong as it's not spamm

well, PC-Flash-Fire, this is an RP game and so far the RP in the game is dead.

the streets hold some RP threads but not much and there is no real RPing being done.

I know a handfull of business districts who's owner is still alive, like 2 or 3 and not that active.

this wont do any harm and would deff increase the activity in the Business district and the RPing.

We already recieve XP for posting, based upon lenght of the post. So theres some what of a reward system in place already. I dont see any issues with a bit of reward for those who wish to post.

The con I see is how do we decide what is and what isn't worthy of an achievement as far as posting and coding. Some people get across what they have to say in a small paragraph, but at the same time you can spam it with a small paragraph, without putting anything into it. I agree that the rp part of the game needs a boost, but I don't think this is an accurate way to do that.

I still believe this can work, and to make it more accurate we can add an Approval button for the owner of the business.

Someone makes a post, it will not be posted in the thread untill the owner of the thread (business) approves it. thus eliminating the Spam problem.

There would be no way to really keep in check if the business owner and the poster are friends, them just approving anything. I can appreciate you trying to stimulate the role playing aspect of the game, but as Ragnarok said, experience is already given, which is basically what you're asking for, just in a visual form, so I don't really see a need, nor an appropriate way to code something such as this. I wouldn't mind hearing other ideas to boost the role playing aspect.
