Since I started playing this game over five years ago, I've always striven to keep sanity, reasonableness, and objectivity paired with an open mind intact whenever I've had the privilege to exert it. As a member of the Player Commission, this hasn't changed.
I pride myself on reading every suggestion that has been put forward in our forums, and though I am rare in sponsoring suggestions myself in contrast to others, I make it a point to give every suggestion submitted a fair shake, and a fair vote, even if it would be in detriment to my player account (which has occurred in several instances) in exchange for the overall good of the site. Adding to that, I've also made sure that my weighted votes (along with my other colleagues who are in possession of them) aren't able to unilaterally drown out the voices of the other members of the Player Commission, by requesting an additional member to our commission (from 11 to 13) in order to keep our votes in check against the rest of our voting bloc.
I'm hardly one to vote on impulse or in haste, nor am I one to bandwagon with a majority if I feel it goes against the community's longer-term interests, which I have always kept in mind while casting my votes. I think my voting record has proven that on multiple occasions, and that's why I'm asking for your vote. |
