I've found that having to wait however many minutes to PP the same person after you have seen them mugged you to be quite annoying. I think there should be a button implemented that can bypass mugging because while the timer is useful in some cases when it was someone who I didn't like or didn't follow my rules... if it's someone I don't mind or followed my rules... it just caused more time to be wasted. 

I would agree with this. I'd like to be able to not mug the poor schmucks who PP me with permission. After all, give and take is something of a way of life here, and the way muggin was implemented, that no longer

Right, and everything is about timing so... the whole idea of needing a period to "calm down" just seems meh. There could be a button that you click that says, "You ran into a pub and felt better about the whole thing" etc.

I like this idea, it's simple and it gets rid of a lot of the confusion around mugging/PPing

I like a RP aspect being included, maybe the 'you ran into a pub and felt better' could be implimented into a business district idea? Maybe a post in a BD thread lets you PP without a mug? just a thought.

I think bringing the BD into it might make it too complex... and we'd end up having way too many BS posts.

While I understand that RP is something that we need more of... I don't think it can work with PPing/Mugging.... There's enough of that handled through MM and stuff when people actually do have interactions about it.

There is already a suggestion for allowing PP instead of mug here

If more users voiced their opinion on it then it might get more sponsorship.
