Up For a Gamble in New York City? Started by: SammyGarcini on Nov 11, '12 22:34

As Sammy is walking through the street of New York, he notices a fairly old building that he recognises, but sadly hasn't been of use in recent times. He decides to walk over to it, and try the door. Locked, of course. He sighs heavily.

"Hmmm, I wonder if I still have it on here."

He takes out the ring of keys from his pocket, and flicks through them slowly, before spotting it.

"Ah hah!"

He takes the key and places it into the lock, turning it slowly and swinging open the door. He stepped into the old building, looking around at all the funishes that were still there. Slot Machines, Blackjack tables, the works, all still intact and in full working condition.

It had been a fair few months since Godfather Marston had given him the honour of opening the Outlaws Casino to the public, and it felt good to be back inside the old building. It needed some sprucing up, but it still had the potential to be a crowd pleaser. With that in mind, Sammy made his way back to his Headquarters, to put the plans in action.

The next few days were hectic to say the least, workmen entering and exiting the premises every 5 minutes to gather more materials, fetch tools, everything that needed to be done was being done at lightning pace. After about a week, the work had been done and the casino was back in full flow. The dust was gone, the whir of the machines could be heard from all over the place, and the dealers were all setting their tables up. All that was left now, was the public announcement.

Sammy walked out onto the streets of New York, and found a corner that he thought was suitable for the announcement.

"Ladies and Gentleman, I'd like to take this opportunity to invite you all to the grand re-opening of The Outlaws Casino. It has been but months since Godfather Marston gave me the honour of opening the casino for the first time, and I think it only right that I should be the person to re-open it now, with a brand new look and name."

By now, a substantial crowd had gathered, so Sammy continued.

"The Casino is now open, and shall feature both Slots and Blackjack as part of it's opening day games, with plans to extend the range of playable games in the near future. I hope to see you all there"

Sammy nods to the crowd, as it gently parts to allow him to walk through, and back towards the Casino. Once he got there, he looked up at the building he had now re-familiarised himself with, and in particular, to the new sign above the doors.

Alleanza Casino, was now officially open.

This is an awesome day for New York to see this casino re-opened.We have been working our asses off to re-open this in the honor of the late Marston who once led this city to greatness. I know I will be at the door handing out free drinks and greeting people at our grand re-opening. See you guys there!

Fantastic! Another casino to spend my prostitutes money at. You'll not get that much from me, but enough for me to regret gambling when its all said and done.

spiels was in the middle of a pretty extensive west coast business trip when he received the telegram from SammyGarcini. It only contained 4 words but spiels knew what it meant - "I've pulled the trigger."

spiels put together his stuff and prepared for a Grand Opening.

"what a great day for New York!"

Toby made sure to be the first in line to get inside. He sure did love to gamble, a little too much maybe.

I know I'll make some money this time. I have a new system. Toby grins, and flips through a wallet full of bills.

You better keep an eye on your vault Sammy. Cause I'll be coming through to clean you out.

Toby burst into the casino, heads straight to the bar and then off to the tables.

Quite drunk, WildTurkey saw his Boss standing in front of New Yorks finest Casino. Newly built, it stood 10 stories and was built like a fortress. All except the front, in which seemed to have a million lights all flashing and blinking in off times. The lights and sound projecting from the door was almost overwhelming, but not in a unpleasing way.

WT grasped the golden handle and flung the door open, entering the large open area that lead to different rooms, which held the different types of games. People seemed to fill every machine and seat, so WT had to stand a chat with some associates before a table finally opened. He sat down, tossed his brief case onto the table filled with 500 thousand dollars and said "All in". As it turns out, WT isn't as good at blackjack when he counts every finger twice. He stood, ashamed and took a few steps. Then, he remembered that he had lots of brief cases back at the house, and he had more money to fill it, so he turned his frown upside down. he found Sammy a short time after.

Good thing we finally one of these money pits Sammy. Should be good to drag business in, and it gives me a place to foolishly give my money away and test the odds. Hopefully this is the next step in our city growing to that next level.

Robb decides to throw some of his hand earned money away whilst in the Big Apple. After reaching the new Casino in town he takes a look around at the games on offer, hoping to find his favourite - Craps. Robb walks around the building a few times and eventually gives up.

No Craps? Bah.

Robb contacts the Airline and books a flight home, so he can lose some money at a Craps table in LA instead

I think I'll probably find myself in New York quite often now that there's a casino, most excellent addition to your fine city, Godfather.

Notes that his feelings about the casino are completely not based upon the large sum of money he may or may not be ahead

Sammy smiles at RobbStark's comment.

"In fact, due to the immediate success of the Casino, it is now fully functional with all games being playable."
